Hilton Darwin

I love the bed, bathroom, and room spaces. It is very comfortable to sleep. I just stay 1 night. Looking forward to next holiday stay more days here. Cleanliness was also very good.

When I arrived with my husband, there is a misunderstanding with our booking. The front desk said we are not booked but I explained to her that we booked through Booking.com. So it sounds like I'm the one wrong here. I believe Hilton should be able to handle any booking from Booking.com. Waited for more than 15 mins for the front desk to find a solution that my booking had been booked from my second name.

Great room size with 2 double beds and good bathroom. Easy valet service for hire car and reasonably priced. Easy to find carparks around the hotel during the day. Good restaurant for breakfast and quick room service in the evening. Very friendly helpful staff. Great location.

The beds just needed more pillows, only 2 pillows on each double bed. It was easy to request extra pillows and towels as there were 3 of us sharing the room (travelling with a six year old)

Everything from the moment you walk in the doors.. welcoming and the amazing freshness of the lobby area.. the feeling of comfort after a days touring or wandering around locally … thankyiu to everyone .. front desk Chris Lea.. so many more names.. arrival for breakfast always a smile .. chef happy to make anything you wish .. bless you for my daily porridge .. yum .. executive lounge .. a place to take five soak in the view make a cup if tea and the yummy evening canapés/ drinks… the friendliness of asking “how was your day” and meaning it..Rooms are lovely clean and beds are super comfy.. As far as I am aware, this is the best hotel in Darwin. Good room & bathroom. Good breakfast. Executive Club room had nice view, reasonable snacks & drinks. Pool was very relaxing & partly shaded as required in the weather conditions prevailing at the time. Good location very close to main street in Darwin.

No real issues as far as my wife & I were concerned. We've been here before & immediately chose this hotel when we returned.

Breakfast Buffet Food was never hot but warm. Always had an Omellette. Very Congested trying to get food, and Toasters a nightmare. I always had just the Bread, too much fuss to wait around for toaster. Executive Lounge the worst ever. Very poor choice of hot food and only warm anyway Very slack in replacing food and poor selection in general. No comparison to Hilton Hotels we have stayed at overseas.

The location was perfect for us; the staff were all very friendly; the breakfasts were great; the pool was nice; and the view of the harbour was lovely - it was great to watch ships and other craft coming and going.

We didn’t have the degree of control over the air conditioning that we would have liked and the time taken for hot water to come through was not great, but neither of those things were deal breakers for us and we would certainly stay again.

It was a bit below Hilton standards with cigarette holes in the curtain in 1524 and a damaged bar fridge with the milk shelf missing the rail so every time you opened it the milk flew out. Plus the wall paper was bubbling at the joints & the rubber mat poolside was well worn and frayed. Other than that, the staff were the best, the service was terrific and the location was primo.

Excellent location, convenient, staff were very accomodating we enjoyed our stay.

We were only provided one large towel to shower but had two smaller ones, not a huge issue as we could have asked for an extra one. Otherwise the hotel suited our needs perfectly, very clean and the staff were wonderful :)

Staff very helpful and friendly, walking distance to city central, wharf precinct etc.

Not impressed with the credit card surcharge that was added to the final bill at checkout - Nothing mentioned by staff member additional charges would apply by paying by credit card.

The coffee was amazing. We loved that it could be delivered to our room in the morning from room service. We appreciated that we could have cleaning daily and that we could request it when we were out.
