Stayed here for one night waiting for a flight to Perth the next day as it is only a seven minute walk to the airport. The staff on reception were friendly and allowed me to store my bag until my room was ready, in this case three hours. The room I stayed in was large with two double bed, even though I was a solo traveler. Which I may add was very comfortable. As you would expect came with air-conditioning and ceiling fan. The bathroom was also big and impressive and as you would expect from a four star hotel very clean, same went for the room. When it comes to dining this being an Accor hotel you have the choice of dining in the Hotel or in its sister hotel right behind the hotel. Had dinner in the Novotel in its Cossies Bar & Bistro a large well laid out room with large glass doors leaning to the bar, outside seating and the pool. The meal was of a high standard and very tasty. As for price it wasn't to expensive bearing in mind the location. Breakfast was partaken in the Mercure hotel. From the moment you walk in your wowed by how much better the hotel is than the Novotel with its tropical look. In this hotel the breakfast is buffet style compared to the ala- cart menu in the Novotel On the booking it tells you there is building works all around the Novotel hotel as they turn the area into one big resort. From what I can see and imagine this will be a wonderful place to stay when finished latter in 2023. If I come back this way I will definitely stay here again, but probably in the Mercure.

Reception service and the rooms were the best for me. Was only in Darwin for a day and the beds were so good even the shower etc. Worth your money!

One thing I did not like was the shuttle from hotel to airport, the guy who looked Indian with glasses was so damn rude he threw our bags in the car and when we got to the airport he was just not cautious, was just so arrogant. I said to him, be careful please there's fragile things inside and I forgot what he said. Maybe he was going through depression, or had a fight with his girlfriend or it wasn't a good morning for him but please BE KIND to your visitors. Most of us just want some peace and quiet from difficult work trips. Sigh! BUT this does not ruin the reputation of this beautiful hotel.

Walking distance to the domestic airport terminal along a safe, well lit and even footpath path. Don't bother waiting for the shuttle unless you have lots of luggage or mobility issues. Rooms are comfortable, clean and recently renovated. Staying here was had use of the pool at Novotel and also Mercure hotel's beautiful lagoon pool next door (owned by the same group?). There was no aircraft noise day or night and you would never know it's an airport hotel once on premises. It's more like staying at a resort, which is how we treated it on our late night flight recovery day. Onsite restaurants are good and reasonably priced. Perfect place to start from for a trip to Kakadu or further afield or even have a tropical resort break as part of your trip. Not so convenient if you want to explore Darwin town itself.

There's a big redevelopment going on (July 2022 for completion in 2023?) which did cause some construction noise at times.

Room had tea and coffee making facilities which is always good and the great civilizer, a box of tissues, not every hotel provides a box of tissues so its always good to find one in a room. Bed was comfortable.

The price is my only beef, it was $340 a night and I suppose in the peak of the tourism season in a city virtually booked out I should be thankful a room was available still price is always something I consider when choosing and it won't always be peak tourist season.

Brilliant things about this hotel : friendly check in, location, space and swimming pool - it looks exactly like in the pictures! Spacious rooms with good basic facilities - perfect for flight layovers. Ridiculously close to airport even on foot - no more than 8min walk.

No food facilities! You have to walk 5mins to nearby sister hotel for restaurant which does have good food though and a nice outlook by another pool. Next time I would consider just booking in that hotel. My room smelt old/musty.

Walking distance to the airport. (I have forgotten all about their shuttle bus till we arrived at the property. Free phone available at the airport to call for the shuttle. A must for those traveling with a lot of luggage). Just what we needed for the night, arriving at the airport just past midnight. Nice and comfortable bed.

May be the fact that I didn't get proper direction in response to my special request for more information on the shuttle service. I would have appreciated some response in e-mail form asking to call them upon arrival or use the phone provided at the airport to call for the shuttle.

Stayed at Airport, Darwin. Unfortunately I was on Crutches due to an ongoing leg issue. The Staff went above and beyond to help me, from the lady that picked me up in the van who came and got my luggage, to the receptionist who organised for someone to take me to my room and then organised for a meal to be delivered to my room afterhours. Everyone was fantastic even the girl that delivered my meal, brought it into the room and moved a chair for me. Thanks everyone you were all great.

Didn't like arriving in Darwin late, afterhours. Not your fault at all and again your staff were fantastic, did everything I could have asked to help out.

The hotel is situated ideally adjacent to Darwin Airport, as I flew in from Adelaide, stayed overnight, drove to Katherine for a meeting and returned all in one day, before staying for a second night and then flying out the next day. I have stayed here several times and the staff have always been welcoming and friendly. The rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable.

I don't mind crossing the road to the Mercure for breakfast and non-Chinese dinner but this may not suit everyone. When I've eaten at Foong Long restaurant the food standard is excellent but there is no alternative if you wish to eat other than Chinese. My room could have used a comfortable chair but that may have taken up too much space.

I love the location very close to the airport, cleanliness, and the facilities they have for the guests.

Location was very close to the Airport which was great but if you want to go somewhere to the city from the Hotel it was bit tricky for the taxi because the map doesn’t shows the exact location of the Hotel it just show the airport location but you have to mention on the the note that you are in Novotel. Thanks
