Quality Hotel Darwin Airport

Very close to airport, they provide an airport shuttle every 30 mins, 24 hours of the day and it only takes 5 mins to get to the airport. Our room was quiet, at the back of property on the 2nd floor. We did hear some guests come in about 1 am but no different to any other hotel There is a lift. The room was adequate, bed was comfortable, bathroom was good. It is not 5 stars but was a lot cheaper than staying at the other 2 motels near airport, or staying in the city and paying an expensive taxi fare. We didn’t do breakfast as we had an early flight and left hotel at 4.30 am. There is a pub next door for meals if you need it. All the staff we dealt with were very friendly and polite.

Nothing that we could complain about. If you want 5 star stay in the city. Darwin is an expensive place to visit so all hotel prices are more expensive than other capital cities.

The hotel and room had all the basic necessities and was nice and clean. Their free 24/7 shuttle to and from the airport is convenient. Most importantly for me, it was a 20-minute walking distance from Marrara. There's also a tavern and a servo next door which came in handy. I didn't use the pool, but I sat poolside and the whole area looked nice and well maintained. It's not a 5-star hotel as Booking.com lists it, but it's a decent 4-star facility.

The hotel's shuttle runs every 30 minutes, but another guest and I were waiting for longer than that when our night flight landed. Even when each of us rang the hotel, we weren't told about the frequency of the shuttle - just that it was on its way. No such issue when leaving for my return flight, but it wasn't the best way to arrive.

The shuttle service is super helpful! I landed at 1am, and I'm very grateful that the hotel provides 24 hour shuttle service.

The location was very close to the airport. The free airport shuttle was there in 5 minutes to pick us up. The room was neat and tidy and clean - had all that we required for an overnight stay after a late arrival into Darwin. They even allowed us to come at the end of the weekend (a couple of days after check out) to have a swim and shower before our return flight early in the morning - this is a service that we have never experienced anywhere else in the world and we were most appreciative.

At check in there we a lot of other arrivals and it took a little while as there was only one person on the desk at that time.

The hotel is close to the airport, and the free airport shuttle bus is only a phone call away - very convenient. We arrived early evening and walked next door to the Airport Tavern for a great meal at the bistro. Breakfast is available for an extra cost, with room service delivery at a time of your choosing. The hotel provides a basic, clean room with hot shower and comfortable bed, suitable for an overnight stay in transit.

Our room had an old, noisy air conditioner, but we were so tired that we slept through. The glass door to the balcony could not be locked, although the screen door had a flick lock with a thick plastic panel around it.

Loved that the tavern/bistro was next door & could be easily accessed via an exclusive entry way just for hotel patrons. Was so easy to book in for the free airport shuttle & we all loved this hotel that much, we ended up cancelling our hotel reservation (at a different establishment) for our return trip & rebooked here! This place is homely, less fuss, the staff are lovely, they have coin operated laundry facilities, a massive pool, good sized family rooms (ours had 1x double bed & 2x single beds plus kitchenette), is in a great location for those getting ready to travel or returning from travelling, petrol station just up the road for any extra treats you may need, could smoke out on the balcony of our room & there's loads of parking for those driving.

Everything is great here, if I had to be a nit picker karen & try to pin point a negative, it would be that there aren't enough places like this around Australia!

I didn’t expect much from this stay, just some sleep close to the airport before flying again and most other properties in Darwin were booked out (and outrageously expensive). The inn is strictly functional with the charme of a parking building. But the rooms were surprisingly comfortable and sparkling clean, even with a balcony (though smallish). On-site breakfast is good but expensive. There’s an airport shuttle on offer.

The pub next door without walls blaring 80s rock music on high volume till late night is obnoxious. Also, in most countries you would get a four-star hotel for this price. There’s a liquor store next door, but no supermarket nearby.

the rooms were spotless and very comfortable. we had 2 nights at the beginning and end of our holiday. the shuttle service was amazing in the first stay.

around the pool area & bathrooms weren’t very well maintained. lots of leaves around and dead bugs in the bathrooms. when we arrived in Darwin at 8pm we called for our shuttle an it took 40 mins of us waiting outside with 2 children for a 5 minute journey. then when we finally made it to the bar next door they had stopped serving food. luckily we managed to get a McDonald’s from Uber eats as the kids were starving.

When we arrived in out allocated room we found airconditioning leaking - told Reception and they moved us immediately into a bigger room with great aircon. Hotel close to eating facilities at neighbouring Airport Tavern which was convenient.

The room was great. Only small problem. The shower recess a bit slippery once you soaped up and it would have been handy to have a small safety rail on shower recess wall to grab if you slipped. Only things available are the glass shower screen or the taps.

Comfy beds, good showers and easy access to services around and just a 2 minute drive or roughly a 15 minute walk to the airport. It's a good hotel to stay before you fly or if you're returning from being away. The staff are friendly and willing to help and just a 2min walk to the shops for late night snacks too.

The traffic noise sometimes gets annoying but it didn't bother me as I'm deaf once I take the hearing aid out. But it may be something that might annoy others.
