The Wave Resort

Room is spacious, great location and staff. It's our favorite place to stay @ Broadbeach.

1) The washing machine is quite new and a famous brand, but everytime I used it the water temperature just gone too high even I chose cold wash. Something wrong with the settings that they tried but couldn't fix it this time. 2) I saw a man sat on the pool side chair then suddenly hit by the parasol (umbrella) @ 4th floor swimming pool... Because the pin missing and the strong wind snapped it hit the poor guy... Luckily just scratched on his chest...Staff might need to check all the pins... 3) There's a site construction going on near by, so we heard the noise in the early morning (around 6am) But overall, The Wave Resort is still our favorite apt. We definitely will come back again.

One of the staff was very rude. She didn’t mind trying to provoke an argument when we politely questioned the bedding configuration. When we wanted to leave it, she continued to attempt to argue. Then she was rude when we explained our car couldn’t fit in the allocated car park due to a locker system preventing us from driving right in. She was then very reticent to provide her name when asked. When we finally got her name, she seemed to turn even more rude and aggressive. We turned and walked away from her and even to our backs she was still vocal with us continuing her “mouthiness” while we had to wait at the elevators..

Apartment 2104 was exceptional! It was newly renovated, and not cheaply. The interior was absolutely lovely, and they included all the things that are normally missing in a holiday apartment - oven dishes, can opener, tongs, peeler etc. The appliances were great, there was a coffee machine, and the internal laundry was awesome. They provided all the bits and pieces needed to clean everything. We all loved it! The layout of the apartment was great, and everything was very comfortable. I would definitely stay there again. They provided free parking, the location was amazing, and everything you need is downstairs. The view was lovely! The resort also has two pools and two spas, all fantastic, as well as a gym and BBQ area. You really couldn’t complain about this place.

Wave's location is perfect; we stay there every year as it is so convenient for the great restaurants nearby and the beach. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking if you prefer and there is both a comfortable lounge with big TV and various dining areas (three!) in the one apartment. Two outside, one inside. A separate 'wing' and bathroom for the kids is great.

There was a little noise from the building works next door but it really didn't bother us but may some people.

Location was perfect, everything you need (including Woolies and coffee) at your feet, beach a short walk. The apartments were huge, had everything you need including washer and dryer. We requested two cots and they were set up in the room on arrival. Pools were great for kids, one is a huge, very warm spa which they all loved for afternoon swims when the sun went down. Perfect spot for families, nothing at all we didn't like.

The facilities, location were amazing. Everything you need is within walking distance. We had a car and the option of having your own secure carpark was a bonus. An option of having two pools was fantastic and used on a daily basis. The rooftop pool had an amazing view of Broadbeach and surrounding areas.

Nothing everything was brilliant, our room had everything we needed. The only suggestion would be to offer a coffee machine for convenience, but saying that there are plenty of coffee shops around (starbucks is located underneath)

Loved the location and facilities. The apartment was beautifully decorated and well set out. Really appreciated late checkout

Unfortately at the time there was construction at the next door property, which I was aware of, but not aware they started at 6.30am every morning except Sunday

Great location, Friendly staff, Awesome facilities! FREE parking! They gave you a bit of things you need like dishwashing powder, laundry detergent etc so you wouldn’t have to waste extra $$ buying big bottles to waste!

We stayed for 5 nights it would have been nice to be able to have fresh towels half way through our stay and not have to spend much time washing and drying but not too big of a deal

Location was great, nice and close to surface paradise but also lots to do around Broadbeach so you didn't need to head into the city too much

Things like tissues, more toilet paper, and cleaning products like dish soap would've been great especially for short-term stays as we had to buy a lot of things that we didn't need a lot of but didn't use enough of what we did buy

- Great location and aspect - Good set of cooking utensils and crockery, sufficient for a family - Clean - Great floor plan and sizeable for kids - Comfortable and sizeable lounge - pool area great for kids

- Very uncomfortable RHS of master bed. Caused alot of body pain the first 3 nights, until I swapped sides. - insufficient security on front door. Wpuld benefit from chain and peep hole - needs some maintenance, such as light bulb in 2nd bedroom flicking constantly and vacuum cleaner was very poor. - suggest to flip layout of loungeroom so when sitting on the couch you get to look out at the amazing view. - suggest 2nd tv in front lounge for older kids - Would benefit from an additional clothes horse
