Lanai Riverside Apartments

This motel is the best in Mackay! View is amazing, location close to ALL the shops and restaurants.. rooms are really spacious and modern, amenities, pool and BBQ, gym are great! Just brilliant accommodation.

The whole place is nearing maintenance, paint and spruce up stage. The bathrooms are due for attention. But seriously the best property in Mackay in our family's opinion, and we'll be back again and again! The only negative at all which is a really tough one, is that the largest family rooms have another building in front, meaning the best views are the smaller rooms.. a tough catch 22! Because the larger rooms are the best!

Location great, close to the lagoon, walking track and restaurants. The pool was lovely, clean and a good temperature. The balcony was a good sizw with a pleasant view. The reception staff went above and beyond when we were unable to secure a taxi to get to the airport first thing in the morning. Upon their arrival to work at 7.45am one lovely member of the staff kindly drove our group of 4 with luggage in tow to the airport to ensure we made our flight. So very very grateful for this act of kindness.

There are no complaints about the accomodation. Mackay in general need to improve their taxi and or Uber accessability.

location and security were great.

1. It sounded like the apartment above us was being renovated with constant knocking and sounds like furniture being dragged along the floor throughout the day. 2. The dryer in our apartment sounds like it is about to blow up when in use 3. the pool repair guy constantly parked in our allocated car park.

Location, size of rooms and apartment,, fully stocked kitchen with plates, utensils, pots etc, great security, pool was awesome and our own washing machine and dryer in the apartment.

Bathrooms may need updating, shower in ensuite was really small and difficult to manoeuvre without the water running out of the shower door and the couches in the lounge room are very stained but overall, a really lovely place to stay and good value for money.

Great location, shops are only minutes away and lagoon/park near by! The staff was very friendly, great customer service and very helpful! The room was amazing, clean, spacious and had everything we need! We had an amazing view too from our veranda and rooms. Parking was very secure and safe, safety at this property was on point! So many great facilities in the property available for guest to use! Great stay and a memorable one too especially for us visiting Mackay for the first time! Have recommended it to others and will continue to do so! 👍

Parking was a-bit confusing, took us a little while to find our spot and the space was very small.

Location, affordable, clean and tidy

No blinds or curtains over the window. The whole unit was filled with light all night with lights from the car park. When the sun rose from 5am it also filled the unit causing our kids to wake up from then

The ladies at reception are amazing, super helpful, HSKP ladies too. Sauna and swimming pool are great, a bit smelly though (probably from back kitchen of the restaurant next door. ) The room is great, Wifi is good.

Elevator stinks, AC temperature in room not able to control, shower water pressure low but alright to use.

The location of the property was within walking distance to the city centre and Caneland shopping centre. Views of the river were amazing and staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was super comfy!

There were stains on the couch and some fittings within the apartment were old and broken. Overall, it wasn’t great value for money. At $330 per night, you would expect the apartment to be luxurious and in immaculate condition.

I loved the apartment and it being up high to enjoy the view over the river and especially at sunrise! It was located close to shops (food, alcohol, essentials). Also it is located close to the river lagoon, which is fabulous, and in walking distance to restaurants and pubs!

I really couldn't fault anything at all - it was all fabulous! If I had to pick something - the mattresses on the beds were a little too firm for me and I didn't find them totally comfortable!

Lots of space, lovely view from living area and main bedroom. Great size balcony, this was a perfect place to relax and hang out, amazing views of New Year’s Eve fire works.

Broken tiles in the swimming pool and one of our family members cut their foot on a piece of glass in the pool area.
