Ingot Hotel Perth, Ascend Hotel Collection

The hotel room was clean and tidy and had great amenities. Tea / coffee was refreshed daily as were the bathroom toiletries. The Bathroom was spacious and spotless. My room faced the main road yet it was very quiet, no traffic disturbance. The gym was really well equipped, with weight machines, free weights, Pilate balls, and treadmills, elliptical bikes, rowers, towels and water. The Cafe and Restaurant menu is great, and affordable. The Chef could have been a bit more flexible with swapping out salads for veggies, or chips for mash but otherwise a great stay.

I have visited the INGOT Hotel for one main reason i like to use the spar which is located near the swimming pool. I can't swim so the spar is very important on my visit to relax, the spar was out of bounds for most of my stay this time due to awaiting a part. I understand that this is due to no fault of the hotel however i was offered a upgrade of a room with a spar bath, unfortunately no rooms available which i understand, i was given a voucher in place of this for 1 drink which i felt was not good practice in looking after a customer who has used the hotel three times in the past year.

The reception staff are amazing in particular Kareena (I think that’s her name) she provided exceptional customer service and should be employee of the month. I hope that’s her name. Nothing was too much trouble, easy to speak with, knowledgeable as I said exceptional. Well done to her and your team.

The breakfast. It was sub standard. Food was only just warm, not much of it and several foods were not filled up. I was told there was no lactose free milk and that I would need to go to the bar and pay for some for my coffee. In this day, there are so many different variations tgat are required for dietary requirements. Poor form. I really cannot say anything good about the breakfast.

Loved the pool and bar area. Great parking facilities with secure parking at the rear of hotel. Rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. Have always enjoyed my stay here. Have been here multiple times. Staff are amazing, both professional and friendly.

Bathroom floor looked as though it hadn't been mopped after last guest as it had dirty shoe prints that weren't mine. Air conditioner turns off when leaving room and reverts to heating when you come back into room also takes a long time for room to cool. Loud droning noise coming from communications room next to my room, loud enough that you can also hear it in corridor. Thankfully the droning noise comes and goes.

I was able to book last minute (Even though it was Boxing Day) - our flight was cancelled! We were also able to check in early (before 2pm). My husband and I were so exhausted - having driven up that morning at 2am from the South West, so to be able to get straight into a clean hotel room with everything we need - including a large bath!!! - Was just so fantastic! The staff were lovely and even booked us on the airport shuttle bus (no extra charge) to take us to the airport for our rescheduled flight the next day! A lovely dinner and wine by the pool was just what the doctor ordered!

We booked here as we were arriving on the red eye from Melbourne and it was close to the airport / offered complimentary shuttle transfers. We were over in WA for the recent Coldplay concert and was pleasantly surprised to learn the free bus shuttle to the event took us literally door to door. We also hired a car and it was free to park the car at the hotel. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much bother. There aren’t many other places around for breakie so we had the buffet breakfast there which had plenty of options. Overall highly recommend!

We stayed for one night and flew out the next morning. Airport shuttle is available for free. Protected parking spaces are available and free, too. As my friend and I flew from different terminals in Perth both was very convenient. Nice efficiant staff at reception. Clean and comfortable room. Nice restaurant, bar, cafe at the hotel with decent/normal prices.

The security deposit was charged to my creditcard at check in. It was not blocked but really charged. That is the reason why I had to pay additional costs for provision and exchange rates on top of the room price. That never occurred before. Usually deposits are only blocked and generally not charged in hotels, from rental car ... So be aware of that.

We couldn't fault the hotel. The room was clean, roomy and comfortable. The service in the bar and restaurant was great. The drink and food prices were reasonable especially being new years eve. The location was great as it was close to the city, casino, other restaurants and the bus stand was right outside the door.

To answer this question, I would feel I'm being really picky. Maybe 1 thing, umbrellas near the pool would be a bonus. We managed, as there was shade to move the chairs too but may have been a bit squishy. Overall satisfaction great.

Immaculate. Quiet. Tranquil. I stay often. If in Perth, I’ll always try to stay here.

One time I arrived late and called room service at 9:55pm and said I knew it was so close to closing but any chance of some garlic bread and and a wine. I should have known that so close to closing time I’d be presented with something old and reheated! Alas! I downed the wine, picked the hair off the microwaved cheese that had slid off the stale bread and ate it. 3/10. Wouldn’t recommend. 2 wines would have further softened the blow.

**First time guests ** The staff were absolutely fantastic and ever so professional. They welcomed myself and my partner with a beautiful greeting with class. The main entrance was so clean and welcoming.. from the roof to flooring to the seating areas. The main sports bar and restaurant was so beautiful and the cleanliness was top notch. The customer service was phenomenal and very informative. The room was absolutely beautiful an so comfortable an cosy. The price range was very unexpected for everything you get. 100% recommended. All in all Was an excellent night's stay. Will definitely be back.
