Crowne Plaza Perth, an IHG Hotel

Food - excellent. Housekeeping service - prompt super friendly and accommodating. Everything was spot on in all aspects. The room was identical to what was advertised. Staff courteous and professional at all times. A very convenient location. The toiletries were of a high standard. The business centre was a perfect working location for me as well as the large desk in the room. The room service was faultless. The hotel exceeded my expectations and I look forward to my next trip when I will be staying there. The book swap adjacent to reception was a wonderful touch. The hotel has managed to create a homely, relaxed atmosphere.

That the pool had no sun shade. Despite two seats that appeared to be semi sun protection there was no other shade. Also the bath over the shower was quite high to step into and poses a slip risk for the ageing and elderly.

This property is in a great location for exploring Perth, just a short stroll along the river to Elizabeth Quay and close to bus stops for public transport. We had a river view room which was lovely - we especially liked the fact that we had a balcony. It is an older property but perfectly clean and comfortable. Good breakfast selection.

The pool is open until 10.30pm can sometimes be noisy quite late into the evening. Whilst this wasn’t a problem for us, it could be an issue for families with young children and for travellers who have arrived after a long flight and need to adjust to changing time zones.

The room was fine and the bed very comfortable.The bathroom spacious with a bath and a walk-in shower. The hotel is easily accessible from the airport and has nice views towards the river with a big green space in front for walking or jogging. The restaurant was very good. I invited family to join me for dinner one evening and everyone was delighted with the food; both the fish and steaks were excellent. The staff very pleasant and helpful.

I was disturbed by a very rowdy group of young people one night who had managed to access a room for a party at 1.30 in the morning. However a phone call to reception finally remedied the matter.

The rooms were spacious enough for our family of five. Staff were exceptional for service. When we needed extra pillows, blankets or towels they were always quick to respond to our requests. Breakfast was fantastic with lots of choice. Pool was great, kids loved it and the view from the pool was lovely. Awesome location and close to most things. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back. Thank you Crowne Plaza, we were sad to leave 😊

Beds weren't the comfiest but were manageable for our two night stay. Parking was very limited and at a cost of $20 a night if you did manage to score a spot - street parking was available but then you have to race out in the morning to pay for it.

It was exceptionally clean, bed was comfortable and the hotel itself was quiet! The breakfast was nice and staff were all lovely!

We weren’t expecting things to be so small. As parents of toddler twins we have a double pram. We have never really had issues getting this pram in and out of places until we stayed here. The lift was almost impossible for us to get into and then the actual room itself was impossible. We had to take the pram apart to get it in the room. Our pram is the width of a standard wheelchair so it is a bit concerning that we didn’t fit.

Love that it’s a great place to stay with kids for Australia Day, not too expensive good price.

The pool ! It’s a great pool with a great view, but the wooden floor is soooo bloody hot it was not enjoyable grabing kids getting out the pool scream cause the floor was sooo hot, and no shade Holly crap it’s hot ! You desperately need shade something !anything, the reason u don’t have shade cause of the wind is rubbish u have plenty of option for shade options it desperately needs it asap !

the room was large and spacious and exceptionally clean. I really liked the complimentary mineral water and the large bathroom that included a bath. The bed was very comfortable. The location was fabulous with views of the river. I booked very late at night for arrival that evening and the facility was very helpful and understanding with my late arrival. The staff where helpful and organized for my mobile phone charger to be available for me after leaving it at the hotel by mistake following check out.

The room was easy to find from reception. The room was clean and a perfect size for a solo traveller. The bathroom was really spacious. The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows.

There were no instructions on how to use the spa bath (how to turn the jets on). Using room service was stressful in my opinion. I didn't like how you had to wait for a second email to fully confirm your order was received (and if you didn't receive the second email within 10 minutes, you had to phone the restaurant. I have anxiety about talking on the phone, so that wasn't pleasant). I think a better system is needed.

upon check in, front desk was very friendly and informative. Room is spacious enough for 2 adulst and 2 children. parking was easy (either hotel/street parking) location was right acrross from Swan river and has a good view for sunset and good route for morning/afternoon jog down to Elizabeth Quay. The free launcy facility on the 1st flr was very much appreciated. Didnt get to try the pool since it was under maintenance on the Monday that we were there.

Our room was fantastic - the balcony was great - view amazing - ninth floor ex eptional.

Unfortunately the bathtub was not ideal. Very dangerous for any with poor leg movement and age It was a shame we had to sacrifice an easier to use bathroom for our love of heights and view The bathroom in 218 should be the standard for the rooms. The selection of wines available could be reassessed and maybe rejuvenised.
