Novotel Suites Wien City Donau

Recently renovated room was great and spacious. Bed and sofa were comfortable. Location was close to the Prater park and the Danube river. Enough nearby parks to walk our dog. Billa, Eurospar and other shopping options nearby. Easy to get out on the highway on our way back west.

Staff was not able to provide any guidance on parking alternatives (ended up using an app called PAYUCA for half the price of hotel parking which had a narrow entrance). Breakfast for 22 EUR was limited in variety. The pancake machine was slow and it eventually broke so we couldn't get pancakes on time. I paid a higher rate on booking.com than shown on screen at checkin. Difficult to drive in from the highway (coming from Budapest).

The large room, twin beds as requested, large desk where 2 people could work comfortably, and the toilet.seperate from the bathroom makes this the perfect solution....so the 30m2 rooms.make.a real.difference. We were also kindly allowed to check out a bit later than standard.time and that made.a huge difference.

The breakfast is a bit expensive so did not try it... with a perfect solution across the road with many more choices and affordability I thought it a nt strange.. also no discount is offered.if you include it before.. Room cleaning was not perfect... glasses and cups not washed and one day the towel in the toilet was not replaced.. just the used one taken.. got the idea some.new workers were doing it...

I was very pleased with the selection of this hotel. The room was very specious, clean, well furnished. I liked the concept of separate toilet and bathroom, especially if you have 4 people in the room. There were both a bath and a shower. A big table and a microwave were a great addition, that was making it very comfortable. Good connection with a city center, metro line and shops very close to the hotel. I haven't found any disadvantages. For my family it was a great experience.

If you are interested to leave the luggage on the last day, it will just stay in the reception. There is no separate room for that, which makes it a bit uncomfortable for travelers leaving their staff.

It was clean, quite Near by train station 10 min walk to Prater

The staff was not that friendly Weren’t able to help with early check in I totally understand it is not easy to get early check in in high season, the issue was not no early check in but was with the way they react to the request The positive was that there is a luggage storage But then the receptionist was not professional in handling our luggage on check in (didn’t check the tag number or any thing) I thank him for the trust that I will just get mine, but felt it is not safe as I could be that anyone can pretend to take his luggage but then end up stolen others. Overall it was a good stay

The room was spotless and well equipped. The location is close to Prater and right next to underground, so you can get anywhere in the city. Close to airport too, which is why we stayed there in the first place (we had a flight the next day). The breakfast was great with enough options.

There are not many sit-down restaurants nearby. The hotel could not reserve parking space ahead, so we were a bit nervous where to put the car in case it would be full, but in the end we did not need it at all because on-street parking is free in Vienna (which the staff could have mentioned and all would be clear).

This is one of the best hotels I have ever been. The room is big enough for 4 people. It is well equipped with everything you might need during the stay. The beds are very comfortable. The room is cleaned daily and the used things are replaced. The towels are also changed daily. The location of the hotel is very good. It is near the highway when traveling by car. The parking is big enough and has direct elevator to the rooms. It is 2 minutes walk to the metro from which it is possible to go everywhere in the city. The Prater is at 10-15 minutes walk. The are many shops and coffees around the hotel. This is my preferred place to stay in Vienna.

I cannot think of... You need an early reservation for this hotel, otherwise there is no room available.

Our room was excellent. Bed was comfortable. Everything was super clean. There was a fridge, microwave and kettle for us to use. The set up of the room was great too. Perfect for a family of 4. Breakfast was really good. The breakfast staff were so friendly and attentive. The hotel is so conveniently located from all the major sites as it is 2 mins from the U1 line and near the regional rail line to the airport. Would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

The reception staff could have been more cheerful. They gave the kids activity packs, which was great. However they didn't tell us about the kids' activity room on the 6th floor which we discovered ourselves. It would be good for the staff to have some ideas for guests travelling with kids.

Spacious rooms, bright, clean, and soundproof. Quiet neighbourhood as well. The staff is polite and attentive. Clean and compact breakfast area. Breakfast included everything: a wide variety of options (fruits, cereal, scrambled eggs, cheeses, cold cuts, breads, cakes, cooked vegetables, and even vegan milk).

Reception at night has just one receptionist and, with lights off in the common area (except the reception desk), it really made a bad first impression during our late check-in. When we walked into our rooms though, we knew we made a good choice. Lacks good coffee... unfortunately.

We stayed in a family room which is very spacious for 2+2 family. Location is outside city center, but metro station is right next to the hotel, we did not need to use the car during our stay. At a walking distance from Prater. Staff at the reception are very polite and accommodating. Overall good value for money, I would stay again in Novotel.

Parking is 25 euro per day at the hotel, which is a bit expensive. I parked near Nestroplatz station for 8 euros a day. Bathrooms are very small. No facilities at the hotel like gym or pool, which we were aware of when we booked

Novotel is always an insurance for an excellent service but this time they went the extra mile. In particular, the staff in the restaurant leaded by Nicky were exceptional. It is because of people like her that you will not think twice to book again in the same hotel next time you visit the city. They have an amazing service

People at the reception could make a better effort to pay attention to guests, I noticed they were more interested in their smartphones. With everybody else in the staff doing a great job, they just didn't fit it.
