Aloft Hotel Calgary University

The location was good close to bus and train. The rooms were clean. The customer service was excellent

I had booked the room through booking .com from March 29th to April 8th . However , I missed the connecting flight to calgary and was stranded in Los Angelus. All of us were put in a hotel in Los Angelus . I did not get refund for one night

The staff were super freindly. The room very very clean. The bed and comfy and the shower had good pressure. The breakfast was delicious as well. I recommend this place and will do so others! 10/10

The only problem i had was the parking. There are not enough stalls to the number of rooms. We had to park in handicap parking. And someone else had to park on the sidewalk.

Breakfast was great and I was fabulously catered to (did not have access to facilities due to Covid limitations but the sweetest lady prepared my breakfast every morning and brought it to my room). Location is good, easy access to nearby mall and a variety of restaurants, although in a slightly sketchy part of town. Staff are polite and enthusiastic. Bonus that not only could I bring my dog (she is too old to be left alone over night) but furthermore the staff were very polite and courteous about her being there. Room was very spacious with big windows and two large desks for work space.

The gym and pool facilities look fabulous so I would like to be able to use them once Covid restrictions are lifted. Was disappointed but I fully understand and shall definitely return at a later date to take full advantage of all you have to offer!

Loved that it had u/g parking when it was -30! The breakfast was lovely and the staff were helpful. Cute funky looking hotel. I had a car, but if I didnt it has amazing public transit access.

There was no business centre - but the staff kindly directed me to a quiet workspace when I had a 5am conference call to attend. The booking website could use an update - booking website mentioned that bagged breakfast would be served (it was a buffet) and that there was major construction in the area. Also said that there was a charge for parking (parking was free).

They were very happy with the room but my Mom's bed was short-sheeted!? My Uncle's room bad was made correctly. They were happy to be on the main floor as they are seniors. They also loved the walk-in shower.

The restaurant was OK - too expensive for the quality of the food. They would also like a variety of breakfast meats instead of sausages every morning. Sausages are great, just not evey morning.

the breakfast is very good, thinking of the covid situation, it exceeds my expection. location is close to shopping mall, macdonald the front desk black girl is super nice and helpful. Solved our problem. very patient.

When checking out ,the price between I booked and the final price is 56 dollars more.The front desk asked me to double check with Booking.com, The extra charged money is for : Tourism Levy$5.15+Destination Marketing Fee $3.75, And fee for using Master Card$3.75. it total comes 56 dollars. All the above fee are not been told when I was booking. Very Bad experience at the end.

It was a super experience. The staffs, however, is the thing that made it really sensational. They were so eager to help. The real surprise was the restaurant. I did not expect to eat there maybe more than once, but I kept coming back.

noisy at weekends with family groups; our room was above the lobby and heard chat, music and general noise from there.

A modern hotel with good parking. Compared with a lot of Canadian hotels of this price the breakfast is excellent. It also has a bar if you want to chill which is open between 3pm and 10pm. I'll definitely book the Aloft again.

Breakfast is nice. Like the decorations in the lobby area and the swimming pool. Facilities are new and clean. Enjoyed my stay overall.

Some security issues. 1. You don't need a room card to use the elevator so strangers can have access. 2. One of the (empty?) room next to mine had its door opened for days. 3. Unable to call the front desk as the phone line isn't working.
