The Westin Calgary

Room was clean and everything functional. The swimming pool was clean and good to have chairs/tables on the sides. Hotel location is convenient access to many stores and restaurants. Staffs were friendly/professional.

The TV remote was sticky, didn't work well. The treadmill in exercise room was missing the emergency stop latch. I didn't like idea of paying for parking at hotel. Had to wait in line for breakfast, then was charged extra/mandatory tipping 18% for having 6 people.

Excellent location, hotel was clean and suit was spacious for our family of 5. Gym and pool area were very nice with beautiful views. There’s a Starbucks and Keg restaurant in the lobby also which was convenient. of course price seemed pricy however it’s downtown Calgary and was compote other hotels in the area.

Value for the money was excellent as we booked this hotel thru the pandemic so the Westin had excellent rates. There is a Starbucks located off the lobby where you could get coffee & a muffin for breakfast and there was a OEB restaurant open just up the street which did a good job with its covid protocols. We felt very safe eating there. Excellent location for walking the river trails.

More choice for breakfast, but the pandemic was on, so many places nearby were closed. We were very aware that breakfast would be difficult to find with the pandemic as many small cafes have closed due to the pandemic & not enough business in the downtown core.

Location is great. Close to lots of fun things in the downtown core

Pillows were very fluffy. Felt like I was sleeping on the mattress itself. Memory foam or firmer pillows would be awesome

I liked that the room was clean and ready for us. I also liked that there was a Starbucks on location. The complimentary bottle of water and essential oil was also nice.

I didn’t like that there was a lack of toiletries such as facial swabs. The lotion provided was watery and bathrobes or slippers. I also didn’t like that I had to pay for parking.

Clean and comfortable which is always the main thing. Good shower.

Tv had limited channels and scrolling guide - outdated. Couldn't order movie. No advanced checkout. Had to have deposit physically refunded onto credit card. Decor was very bland. Starbucks onsite had v. limited hours. No night light for bathroom.

The staff there are very accomodating and nice. From the parking staff to the check in area and the kitchen staff. Good location. Large lounge area. Room and bathroom are clean and bed is very comfortable.

Nothing. I will stay there again, if visiting Alberta in the future.

The location is great, the facilities are clean and well-kept, and the room was wonderful. The staff's hospitality at the Westin and at the Keg were both exceptional. Everyone was very friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay amazing and special.

I was charged for WiFi after checking out.

I checked in at 11:30 pm and left at 7:00 am because my delayed flight made me miss my connection. I didn’t have time for breakfast. The room was quiet. Maybe you could have a special rait for overnight airline guests.

The rate could have been lower.
