Check-in was smooth. you can park in front of your room. The outdoor hot tub was well maintained as was the pool. Good water pressure and lots of hot water. Kitchenette not fancy but adequate. Great family run business

Its getting quite dated and could use some tlc in areas that are cosmetic.

This property is located about 20 mins walk from the town centre of Canmore. It has an outdoor hot tub and an indoor pool area as well as guest laundry services which was great. There are nice sitting areas outside too. We got an upgrade on arrival giving us a jacuzzi in our room and the room itself was huge with a giant bed as well which was really comfortable

Our only negative comment would be around housekeeping. We were supposed to get this every other day but never received it during our stay. However the lady on reception was unbelievably helpful and managed to get us some clean towels. Not too much of an issue for us as overall the stay was excellent and we could deal with it but just an FYI in case you go

The facility was clean and pleasant. We loved the fact that there were clean plates and utensils in the kitchenette. We also loved the fact that the beds and linen were washed regularly and were comfortable and clean. The location is central and very close to the highway. Further more it is close to Gas station and Tim Hortons. There is ample parking spots available. It has a playground and a fireplace to sit and relax.

The bathroom was small, although we didn't use the pool and laundry I believe they deserve a makeover. The room ground is made of wood so they can make a lot of creaking sounds when walking especially your neighbors if they are awake until 3 am and walk a lot

heating was excellent and room was nice and warm. bathrooms were clean with lots of towels. good size double bed for two people.

there was hair in the bed sheet - wish that wasn't the case. also after hours phone number was not available on website or anywhere. it was confusing to get a hold of someone as the after hours telephone itself was not working and confused us. booking also did not show up on their end, so checking in as much more confusing since nobody called to ask when our arrival would be (as we were coming off a delayed flight and could not contact the lodge)

Great value for the money! This is a motel, and thus not as fancy as a hotel. With very comfortable beds (very firm which I like) and clean with plenty of hot water it was perfect for us. The staff came in and tidied, offering towels even though we only stayed 2 nights, not even 5 star hotels have that level of service these days. Check in and check out was simple and the gentleman was very friendly. My partner is not from Canada and he loved it, saying the room's Chalet feel is exactly what he feels Canada is all about. For the price you can't get better than this.

The hot plate was VERY hot, almost burning my breakfast. Better instructions would be great.

I like the location. It's out of the way of the busy part of Canmore. Easy exit to Sunshine and Lake Louise and easy entry back into Canmore. Next to Rundle electric bike rental which is an excellent way to explore Canmore. Walking distance to a bunch of restaurants and liquor store. Walking distance to Mii Korean BBQ which is excellent. The open park area in the middle is a great place to chill out. It has a fire pit as well and plenty of wood. A good place to have a beer.

The pillow's were not very good.

The location was good, on the main road into Canmore. The facilities were fine – everything was nice and clean. We were able to park right outside of our cabin and we were very grateful for the air conditioning. The site had a pool and good laundry facilities, although you had to either leave the site to eat, our buy in supplies and eat in the cabin (we did both). The staff were helpful and friendly and we very much enjoyed our stay.

Two REALLY MINOR POINTS. Coming one way, the sign to the lodge was hidden by tree branches, which made it difficult to spot first time. Also, we were one floor up and the steps on the outside staircase had a strange bend to them. I don't know if they were deliberately designed this way, but it was a bit disconcerting.

Convenient location to the busier tourist area of Banff. It was very quiet and the staff were great to try to accommodate our short notice request.

Some updates were needed. The television didn’t work in the first room we had there, which wasn’t a big concern at all. The second night we came back and stayed the hot water faucet in the shower did not work right. It was extremely hard to turn on and then you could not get the hot water to turn off.
