Holiday Inn & Suites Grande Prairie, an IHG Hotel

I really liked the pool hours 6 AM to 11 PM. The staff there very pleasant and friendly. While checking in with two young boys that were very excited to be staying in a hotel for two nights with a pool. The girls made it so much easier for me by chatting with them while I was filling our checking in stuff. That was so helpful to me and kept them busy so check in went quick.

Our room was right off the elevator so in the early morning it was very load with people checking out and people heading to work. Also our window was right above the lobby so when the work shuttle was picking people up was very load even with the window closed. Nothing to do with property, and easy fix just to ask to not have our room by the elevator and maybe on the back side of the building.

The room was very clean and new - it exceeded expectations. The people at the front desk were very nice. The hotel was centrally located with enough parking.

We ate at the restaurant once. It was cold but they put up the heat. My dinner was served cold and needed to be reheated. The restaurant appeared unfinished and had very little atmosphere. The food was otherwise fine.

We had requested an upgrade to a 2 queen bed suite and this did not get processed correctly by booking.com. When we arrived at the hotel, all of the staff, along with the manager James, did whatever they could to accommodate our request, even having the cleaning team prepare a room very quickly for us. They were very apologetic and had amazing customer service. The cleaning team did a great job, and this was one of the cleanest rooms my family has stayed in for a long time.

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

Breakfast was okay, it would have been good if it was warm but it was cold.

The price was high - I paid $262 for a suite with 2 double beds and a pull out couch - there was French doors that separated the beds from the pull out couch but the AC was in the room with the beds & so we ended up having to leave the French doors open because it was boiling hot when they were kept closed.

The staff were courteous, cheerful and very helpful.

The windows and the air condoning unit could have been cleaned a little better. It looked like there were crumbs of some kind in the unit and the window looked like someone had placed their hands all over it. Other than that, it was fine.

the room was very clean and huge! gorgeous and worth the money! the included buffet breakfast was AMAZING, even the fruit was fresh and perfectly ripe! left in the morning with a full belly and very well rested!

Breakfast was great. Our server, the same gentleman all three times we ate was awesome !

The day we checked in we did get any breakfast vouchers. We had to ask for them the next morning.

Loved the pool, front desk staff were friendly. The breakfast was delicious and the server was very kind and welcoming! Very clean, smelled good. Bed was very comfy and soft.

Nothing it was great

It's always very clean. The beds are comfortable.

The fridge wasn't working. I put my leftover pizza in the fridge so I could eat it the next day, only to find it warm and inedible in the morning. Really good pizza, really disappointing.

Bed was so comfortable, had a great sleep. Front desk staff very friendly, as well as housekeeping. Loved that it was Pet friendly & extremely clean.
