Americana Waterpark Resort & Spa

The park was great for my kids little cooler in the afternoon when the sun went away and was not warming up the facility. Room was clean,the balcony door was difficult to open.

The pool area was not as clean as it should be. Lots of lost bandaids and hair by the afternoon. The pools could be heated up more in the afternoon due to the sun not creating a greenhouse affect. Random bandaid floating in the wave pool. The towels are small and they did not let you take them back to our room. Which isn't great as the kids were cold. Bring your own towel, but they should get better towels. Parking isn't free. I am staying at the hotel and renting a room. The least you could offer to have parking included in the stay. I can understand charging for those using the parking for only Waterpark access. That's fair The outdoor park. Danger!!! I can't see them having this park inspected and passed. The wood on the platform has rotten.

The waterpark served its purpose to keep our son amused and we used the hot tub, which was great. The Fields restaurant we used for breakfast and it was really good value for money at $19.95 with the buffet, but the 15% service charge was a shocker! Rooms were well stocked, clean and spacious.

The Boston Pizza attached we used 2 nights out of 4 and both times the food was great, but service was "challenging" in different ways; had to speak to the "16-year-old" manager about things and he was next to useless. I know this is a Third Party situation, but the affiliation is clear and it is an integral part of the hotel, so as far as I'm concerned, it's flaws reflect badly on the hotel. The hotel needs to "have a word" to get their service levels up! The beds weren't great :( ......... they were pretty hard and squeaky and my wife woke with back ache, but not to say everyone would suffer.

It's a great resort for children and families..The water park is awesome !

I didn't like the fact that I got charged for parking twice . First when I booked on BOOKINGS.com then at the actual resort . When I went to the front desk to speak one of the staff about the park discrepancy I was talked back too with annoyance and attitude. The lady basically said there's no way I could have been double charged without even looking at my receipt which clearly showed I was charged twice . Instead of arguing and making a scene I just left feeling like my overall stay was nice so lets not end it off badly .

Loved that we were able to use the bus line to get down to the Falls. The location was fantastic in that we weren't too close to the busyness but we were able to access what we needed to without a hassle.

I wish I had known that we were able to get the bus passes before getting to the hotel. Being our first trip, we paid a ridiculous amount in parking for just a short stay. That hour of parking cost more than our 24 hour bus pass for the 3 of us. If that could be communicated for those driving in for the first time, it would be helpful.

I loved the room we got, it was huge and super clean! A bunkbed for the kids! And their own tv! We went in April and the kids really wanted to come back so we found ourselves back here only 6 months later! We had more fun the second time and we plan on booking again for January!!!

Some could complain it's very far from the falls. But this time of year parking is only 5 dollars around Clifton Hill so no biggie to drive down and pay to park. We did that twice. Worth it.

I loved most everything in the property My Grandson loved the pools and the arcade. Loved the people that worked there

When you ask about local attractions, pleasant l, but horrible. Asked how to get the Falls in my car and the girl said have them drop you off here. 2 more tries and a gentleman explained to the girl and answered me. Same thing the day before different people. It wasn’t crowded. Called about internet issues. The girl said I haven’t heard about any today. The end

The egg and bacon breakfast was good, the waffle and pancake my children got were quite dry and I would assume they are bought frozen in bulk and warmed up. The taste was fairly artificial and dry. Even if they were homemade and frozen for quick use it would have tasted much better. An option for real maple syrup at aditional cost would be great too... especially being in niagra, you could support some local maple farms. The eggs and bacon were great though.

The cost of our stay was a lot for a working family with 3 children. We used to come more frequently but since covid everything has increased 3 fold. Our children have been asking why we don't go anymore and we don't want to tell them we can't afford it anymore so we made it a Christmas gift instead of presents. They had lots of fun... but this is a sad reality for parents now, and it's not fair to the children. We can only afford it once a year now when we used to stay multiple times over the winter.

Great hotel for families with kids. Our little guy was busy playing in the pool and arcade that is next to it. Rooms are big and clean. I liked they have microwave and fridge at the room (this is our 5th time in Niagra Falls and most of the hotels don't have it unfortunately) Parking was convenient with easy access to the hotel or your room if it is on the ground floor. The staff was nice and helpful.

We stayed at the hotel for 3 days and didn't have our room cleaned on the second day. So had to ask from the front desk to send some towels. I wish they had full body towels and lotion/conditioner. There is no breakfast at the hotel but they have a buffet restaurant inside. The lady at the door was not nice, looks like not enjoying her job.

We stayed at The Americana Resort with our two kids, we all had a great time. The rooms were clean, we thought our towels in the room would have got replenished the next morning but they did not, it was not a big deal. Breakfast was alright we thought it was a little pricey for the quality, we were surprised. The water park was great the kids had so much fun. The arcade prizes could be a little better, some of the games weren't working and ate our tokens we spent $40.00 on tokens and got little dinky toys, which is fine but sometimes not everyone can afford that. We had lunch at Boston Pizza which was okay, they were a little short staffed but they did their best. The food was average Boston Pizza food, it was good. We did not eat at the snack bar, we had an ice cream and the staff there were very friendly. Overall a great place to visit the water park is perfect for small kids. We had a good time.

Breakfast was not that good. A little pricey for the quality. Towels in the rooms were not replenished, and room did not get cleaned. Towels for the water park are very small, not for adults.
