Days Inn by Wyndham Montmagny

Well located for access to the highway and amenities - great location to stay night before exploring Quebec City without the high cost of city hotels. The hotel is modern and very clean. The pool as small but again new and super clean. It was perfect for 4 weary travellers to refresh before a comfortable sleep. The town itself is a lot nicer than expected. We spent a couple hours exploring the waterfront and the many parks.

There is no guest elevator/lift. We were given a room on the second floor (1st floor for the rest of the world) and did not want to leave all of our luggage in the vehicle overnight. I have a family that likes to use up every ounce/gram of allowable airline luggage weight when travelling so it was quite a chore getting all of our bags to our room.

Very cute and cozy hotel in charming little town. Room was sparkling clean. Breakfast selection was very good ( could have gad some bottled or filtered water though) . Small pool was just perfect for the family. Nice place, will stay again next time for sure.

Liked everything. I wish the pool at summer time was opening earlier than 9 AM though, It would have been nice to get a chance to swim first and then have a breakfast , before another 8-9 hours drive.

We appreciated the change of room to a first floor room as this hotel doesn't have elevators. The room was perfect and even had two chairs right outside the patio door. We were traveling to see Grosse Ile the next morning whi h was a convenient short drive away. La Colosse restaurant was across the street and was excellent.

When we checked in the room we were given had a leaking air conditioner and the floor and the bed skirt were wet. There were towels on the floor to soak up the water. No one should have been given this room. We requested a room change.

Room was satisfactory, clean,

person at check in desk was not very friendly soon as we spoke english had an attitude. Request room on 1st floor had email conformation but was given room second floor. After stating this was given room 1st floor. with attitude. Continental breakfast was alright. Having table for computer right underneath big screen tv not a good idea, very loud when someone else is watching.

The cleanliness.

We got at the hotel around 8:30pm and even the local McDonald’s was closed. I needed to have some water and the hotel has these machines that only accept bills. I asked front desk if I could use my credit card to pay for a bottle of water - or add that cost to my bill, as I didn’t have any cash on me, and they told me no. Luckily I had a bit of water in my car, so I could take my pre natal pills that night. I think they could have been more proactive, but they didn’t seem to care at all.

Huge room on the ground floor with sliding doors to a pretty patio (we have a dog). Beds were comfortable, room & bathroom very clean. Love that it's carpet free!

The guest down the hall who was in a screaming match on her cell phone until late at night, and back at it at 6am! Woke everyone up!

the property was clean and attractive, the pool looked inviting though we didn’t have time to try it. the hotel was clean and comfortable. the room was clean, comfortable, quiet and well-appointed. continental breakfast was nicely done. the young woman worked hard to keep everything filled and clean.

the room I was Putin had very old damaged furniture. I am assuming it was because we we traveling with dogs. So I didn’t get to see a room that would be normal. I was not worried about it I very happy that they take pets.

The bed was really comfortable. I really slept well

I can't say it's dislike. But if you need to improve anything, I'd say maybe the Very simple breakfast (only toasts and cereals), can't be called continental. Maybe change the name or add fruits, yogurt, and other stuff.

Breakfast was good. Grounds were well tended. Great spacious room.

Only one fly in the ointment, that is, the lighting in our room was way too dark. Could not adjust lighting to make it brighter.
