Novum Hotel City B Berlin Centrum

The hotel is very clean and well presented very minimalist look. Basic budget with a small touch of luxury is just what the traveller needs. Food available down stair late at night for when you need that juicy burger to recover from all the party's you can go to very close to bars restaurants and clubs. If your in the mood to see the rest of Berlin the u ban public transport is only a step away.

Not much can be said on what I didn't like. Mattress was clean and had a protector. Shhets were clean, towels offered everyday and cleaning offered everyday. However there was no pillow protector so I could clearly see someone else's soaked up sweat from the previous guests. This was over first inspection of the room and no dout over my stay my sweat was also being soaked into the pillow material directly. However I am quite pleased generally it was minor oversight. It was very very hot the week away and it's understandable the people would be sweat much more than usual. Also would suggest better signage branding outside to let customers know your a hotel if it wasn't for the website people might not know your even there.

The is my favourite hotel in Berlin. The location is excellent, opposite is the metro station and the bus stop. it is a few stops to potsdamer platz. The hotel is claen, quite and near to so many restaurants and coffee shops. I was also surprised to find that my room was upgraded to a larger one with more facilities for no extra charges, For that I must thank the hotel officer, Mr Walid Lotfy for his kind care during my stay. I will definitely go back.

Maybe the room needs ceiling light and net curtains.

1. The location of the hotel is really nice; it is exactly near the metro, and it is comfortable to go by foot to the famous touristic places. 2. The administrators were so kind and helped me with my key to open the door. 3. The cleaning staff cared about the room and asked every day to change the towels, or if I needed something else to change or clean. 4. It was possible to take kettle for rental deposit - 10 euro

It was a bit noisy in the hallway It will be great to have a small fridge (especially in the summer season).

I liked the location which is extremely good. I liked the breakfast as well, which was quite good. I liked that hotel was 24 hours with receptionist at the entrance of the hotel.

I did not like the rooms on the ground since I first got one on the ground, quite depressive. On my request I got better room on the fourth floor. I did not like the cleaning of the room since they did not change sheets every day.

The location is good, directly opposite a U-Bahn Station, lots of good bars and restaurants in easy walking distance, and only a short trip on the U-Bahn from most of the interesting sights of Berlin. Room is very compact but not unusably small and was very clean. The free WiFi worked well enough to stream videos at 480P and load websites without to much waiting. The beds were comfortable with good mattresses and sheets, but only one pillow was provided each which was a bit annoying. Shower had a decent pressure and temperature.

An extra pillow would of been nice. The bigger issue however was the receptionist when we checked in. While all the other staff members were lovley, this man was not, he kept asking why two men wanted a double room, then made some rather unpleasant comments before giving us the room key. Not what we expected from a major hotel chain.

A good hotel in an excellent location with brilliant access to both eateries and the UBahn. Beds were comfortable the ensuite we thought was excellent. A nice decor and decent facilities.

We thought the pillows were dreadful. They were too soft and could not sleep with them we ended up using the quilt folded up instead. The staff were not particularly approachable nor friendly. We would also have appreciated a way to make hot drinks in the room.

We had one of the corner rooms which was huge. It was perfect as we travelled with 2 kids and they had alot of space were they could play. The location was perfect as it was close to everything like food places, supermarkets and the Ubahn. Breakfast had simple options but was actually really good, the restaurant staff was super friendly and helpful.

They don’t have air condition, but had many windows to open . Could use a fridge for the warm summer and a simple coffee maker for the mornings.

The hotel is located in a vibrant area, with many shops and restaurants nearby. The train station is directly opposite to the hotel (easy to get from the airport). Our room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable and the heating worked very well. The bathroom could be cleaner though, and the hallway had a slightly unpleasant smell. Overall, a good place to stay for a couple of days!

The room and the bathroom were very spacious and well designed, we felt comfortable from the first minute. We really liked the beds, they were top quality and everything was very clean. The location was perfect, the stuff very helpful and the price really good! We would definitely stay again and suggest it to our friends.

The only thing that we noticed was that there was a smell in the bathroom, but that probably had to do with the sewage, and not with the bathroom itself, because everything looked very clean.

We were looking for simple, stress-free accommodation and Hotel Novum is just that. The rooms had large windows overlooking the subway station, so some might be bothered by the noise, but we loved the urban setting and the sounds of the city. We also had lots of great recommendations from the reception staff, and our rooms were cleaned every day. The neighbourhood is not one of Berlin's fancy or cool ones, but we loved the vibe and found some great spots nearby.

One of the rooms smelled of cigarettes, but that is probably more the guests' fault than the hotel's. Not much you can do against that.
