Hotel Indigo Berlin – Ku’damm, an IHG Hotel

Location was central, but not too noisy or busy. Breakfast was made to order - excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. Airco available, but windows also opened for fresh air:)

Nothing really. If I had to make one comment, I would say that although the room had everything - including fridge, Tassimo machine and pods, iron and board, etc, it was a little on the small side. But that's the only point I can think of.

The location was perfect for us. Just a five minute walk to transport options. The staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was varied and generous and the staff kept everything tidy and topped up, even in the busy times. We had a room at the back, which was quiet. The room was well equipped and comfortable. Nice bedding, loo paper, towels, toiletries, and a fabulous shower. Fridge, coffee machine were also very much appreciated, as was the air conditioning. We had our room cleaned every three days, which was adequate for us, but I’m sure it could be done every day if you wanted. There’s a nice walled garden, where we could have breakfast or a drink.

I didn’t like the green curtains, which cast a bit of an eerie glow over the room, but that’s my personal opinion and not really a criticism. Also, when we opened our windows, we would get the smell of smoke from the garden below. Again, that’s a personal bugbear and not the hotel’s fault. We closed our windows and used the air con when the smokers gathered outside.

Close to city attractions, cleanliness, coffee and hot chocolate in the room, staff were pleasant and helpful, breakfast buffet had several choices of fruit and bread as well as hot eggs. Bed was comfortable, shower was good. Drinks for sale in the lobby. They permitted my dogs.

Parking was in a garage down the street, making luggage transfers difficult. Room was very small. Buffet was expensive for bland food. The neighboring buildings have been abandoned and the view from the window was a lot of debris in a vacant lot, which gave a dismal impression.

Located a couple of blocks from the s- barn, the U, as well as shopping, restaurants, etc. Breakfast was included with a full buffet daily of hot and cold options as well as the ability to ask for pancakes or specialty omelette a upon request. A great value.

A little disappointed that there was no bar or restaurant open other than for breakfast, but they were going through some changes and expecting it in the future. Also- very accommodating and they were able to sell us beer and wine as they do have it. Also there was a supermarket 2 blocks down that had anything we needed and very reasonably priced, including beer and liquor, and a hot foods to go area.

It was a comfortable smart hotel only a few minutes from the U bahn and S bahn which was great when exploring the city. The breakfast was very good. I had a nice sized room and there was total quietness which was great. The staff generally were helpful.

My room phone to reception was not working when I arrived and the matter was not resolved until the end of my stay. The air conditioning did not work for a while and after much confusion as to why this had happened, the situation was finally resolved. Communication between staff regarding this problem could have been better. The pillows were very thin and uncomfortable. I got very little sleep as I like a firm pillow for my neck.

Room was small but the balcony made up for that and was pleasant to sit out on. Good shower, safe provided, coffee machine, robes, slippers, quality hairdryer, comfortable bed and air conditioning. Breakfast was delicious with a good range of choice. Staff were friendly and easy to deal with. Great area very close to various transport options. A good choice of restaurants and shops nearby. Loved the Quasimodo Bar with its great music nearby. We had a great stay.

Not much not to like but if we were being picky then pillows could have been better. At least one change of bedsheets would have been nice during the 5 nights we spent there. Also there were some marks on the wall which could do with freshening up. However, we always came back to a tidy room after housekeeping had done their thing while we were out and that was appreciated.

The hotel is close to the Tiergarten, the Zoo and the Technical University. Is also very close to the metro station. The hotel is clean, the room was clean, the shower is quite big and the bed is comfortable. The room is plenty of charging stations and is quite nice. The air conditioning works well. Breakfast was good. Wi-Fi works well.

The coffee machine in the bedroom was not completely clean, due to the fact that is not used often. The wardrobe is small. There is not bidet (a problem only for Italians). The coffee machine in the cafeteria did not work in the morning. I did not appreciate the big sofa in the room, which is too big for the small room. All of them are minor problems anyway. The cost of the room is too high for the offered service.

Cozy small hotel that exceeded all my expectations! Friendly staff, delicious breakfast, great location, I will definitely come choose this hotel during my next stay in Berlin!

The shower stall has no ventilation, and by the end of taking shower you find yourself in a sauna. The doors to the neighbouring rooms close very loudly and woke me up all the time.

In general we enjoyed our stay in the Indigo IHG Hotel. Location is exceptional. WiFi is perfect. Personal is very friendly. There is no radiators in the rooms. Only climate control.

A bit poor breakfast for 4 stars. Designer Chairs in the room - not comfortable. Not enough shells in the room. Not working restaurant because of Corona.

I stayed here for 6 nights and very much enjoyed it ! The room was a good size for a solo traveller. My favourite part of my stay was definitely the breakfast which had plenty of different options! Hotel was very close to the U and S bahn as well as a shopping district.

No complaints at all.
