ibis Hotel Berlin Spandau

this is example of good Ibis. They have the idea right. You want hotel where you somewhat know what to expect? we get you exactly that for decent money. Nice room, clean, with comfy bed. Plus it is directly on train, it has its own shopping mall. And its decently easy to park on streets if you dont want to use carpark in building. Very good choice for business travelling.

very hard to pick something.. all was fine. you can hear ambulance cars on street if I need to pick something.

The staff were helpful especially the night check in man who gave me some useful advice, sorry I forgot his name. The cheap beer in the kiosk ( open 24 hours) due to corona the bar was shut ( pity it looked OK ) The proximity to the main rail station only 8 minutes walk which is good for us old pensioners 72 & 83.We have stopped in the IBIS hotel in Coventry a few times,it is a good chain with good standards,you pay a little more but get the best so it is worth it.

Being on the main street the 112 cars were busy.That is no fault of the hotel ,however perhaps another layer of double glazing would help ?

Central location, the hotel's building is part of the mall that's accessible within 100 meters of the hotel's exit. Room was clean, tidy and well kept. The hotel provided us with shower gel, daily toilet paper rolls, daily washed towels, the bins were cleared every morning and we also had a nice breakfast on the house, in the cafeteria. The breakfast was amazingly rich, varied and the food was always fresh.

The only issues that we encountered was with the HVAC system that over the day was performing very well, but during the night, towards the morning - wasn't heating the room enough even on the highest setting. Also - even though we were given a room on the 10th floor, we were able to hear EMS sirens through the closed windows quite often.

The staffs were very kind and helpful. The breakfast was top notch though breakfast was available on the 20th.

One of the bed side light wasn't working. The edges of the bed were a little dusty. I gave it an 8 because on 20th our used and wet towels weren't changed as usual after the room service thank goodness we came with personal towels from home.One of the bed side lights wasn't working. The room was big enough for 2 people. Everything was working on the room which is appreciated and also they have fast loading charger which is very useful when you come to visit a city and don't want to spend a lot of time in the room.

During the cleaning hours the ladies are a bit noisy when they close doors or move stuff, which if you wake up late is unpleasant.

Really good location - handy for the station, so it was easy to get in to the city centre. Good shopping mall and restaurants nearby. Overall , we felt the hotel was very comfortable and made an ideal base for exploring Berlin.

Quite a lot of traffic noise and sirens. Would have liked tea and coffee facilities in the room.

Location is Perfect , few steps from Metro Station , Hotel is located same building a mall , shopping is very easy Breakfast is amazing and staff are super kind. Room are super clean. Not a premium Hotel but for sure Clean and confortable with all the essentials available.

The room was clean and comfortable. The location is prime and there is an easy access to shops and transport. The room was very quite even that the hotel is located on a busy road. Please with my stay.

It was a short stay and I did not notice much negatives.

The location next to the train station is great! Allows for easy transport. The breakfast was nothing special, but really tasty and plentiful. Wifi and bed were great.

We especially liked the breakfast buffet, friendly staff and the drinks and snacks that were available in the Hotel Lobby for a fair price.

We missed a mini safe in the room to lock away valuables.
