Select Hotel Berlin Spiegelturm

The room is nice and comfy, they accept pets (I have a cat). We are staying long-term while waiting for my house contract in Spandau, we were relocating from Malaysia to Germany for work. We were staying for 1 month and a few days extra. The location is close to Ikea, Bauhaus, MediaMarkt in case you want some food or groceries. There is S-Bahn that you can use to transit to nearby Old Spandau center and Spandau Arkaden. It takes around 30-45 minutes to go to the heart of Berlin. The view is quite OK, there was some construction ongoing outside so that depends on the time you book. We didn't take the restaurant for halal reasons, but you can buy beverages at the reception. The staffs are friendly and accommodate our stay. If you're Muslim, there's a Kebab King at the Bauhaus that is quite tasty. Otherwise Lieferando and filter for "Halal 100%".

This might depend on the traveler, as it is quite quiet which is alright for us. There is no popular app reachability, such as Wolt, Gorillas, etc unlike at the center of Berlin, but there is Lieferando for your food (thankfully). No option for long-term accommodation, which we had to keep extending each time our stay ended but it's not a big issue. The AC is central distribution, which means you might feel hot when you first arrive (it was summer). If you don't have a pet, just open the window, otherwise, if you are afraid of the pet jumping out of the window, there's nearby MediaMarkt where we purchase a small fan/ventilator for around € 15,00. There's no water boiler as well for hot drinks, which is quite weird. Again, we bought ours at MediaMarkt.

The Location was absolutely perfect being so close to the station. We visited our children in Spandau and they did not have an extra bed to accommodate us and we had to take the train late each night to the hotel to sleep. The room was spacious and the bed so comfortable. It was a blessing.

We missed having a kettle in the room to make coffee each morning and an ice maker in the foyer to get ice but the hotel staff were wonderful and lend us a kettle for the 4 days and each night they supplied us with a glass filled with ice. The air con could not be managed manually and was set by the hotel. It would be better to be able to control the temperature ourselves.

Very convenient. Easy parking. Easy train ride to Berlin. Easy to Olympic stadium. Rooms are modest in size but new and contemporary. Ask for room on opposite side from train station for best view. Noise was not an issue.

Restaurant is currently closed except for breakfast. Minor hassle with how you get the lights and hvac to turn on (put key card in slot inside next to door) and couldn’t get the fridge to work.

Room, pleasant with a view over the city. The restaurant has almost 360% view, large windows on the top floor. Very impressive. The location is one stop before the train station of Spandau and called Stresow, and very conveniently across from the hotel. Spandau is part of Berlin but quite a distance from the city centre, however, the S-Bahn runs frequently and gets you everywhere you need to go in Berlin.

Perfectly located directly at the S-Bahn station Stresow - especially when going to the Waldbühne for a concert, but also for trains to Berlin Mitte. Just a few minutes walk to Spandau Altstadt with shops, restaurants etc. Perfect location!!

If your room is located at the train station side, it is a bit noisy, especially if you like to sleep with the window open. Here, I would definitely recommend Oropax ;)

very clean, stylish hotel excellent breakfast, a little pricey but not bad value for money.

VERY expensive and poorly stocked bar (500ml bottled water €3.50). also rooftop restaurant bar closed for “operational reasons” during my stay. but great bar just 10mins walk away where a large beer cost less than the water!

Luxury bedding, excellent view, nice restaurant on the 16th floor... Wall size window can also be opened to let the fresh summer air in ... The shower is great

Water was not draining well in the shower... So it had to be quick - in and out 😅 or else the shower floor tray filled up with water threatening to spill on the bathroom floor...

the proximity to the concert venue, because we were there to enjoy music. Also, the Spandau historical centre is really pleasant and the biergarten is the place to be (if you like beer and traditional food). a 24/7 mini market also sells drinks at friendly prices

Nice modern room. Loved the feather cushions. Excellent location, close to Spandau Old Town center with bus and tram stop close by

The hotel room (including bathroom) was too warm. No possibility to regulate the temperature- it's operated through the main central heating system, we were told. 🙁

Affordable hotel within a short walk to Old Spandau and the Zitadelle Spandau. Perfect for a one night stay attending a concert at the Zitadelle Spandau. The staff were very friendly and the room was nice as well.
