Holiday Inn Express Munich - Olympiapark, an IHG Hotel

Superb location! We travel by car so a hotel that was not far from the city, but had a large enough parking, was important for us. Plus the hotel has modern design, is spotless, has good size rooms and a large shower. Also close to the underground station so you can leave your car in the parking and go to city centre easily by public transport. Very comfortable beds with a mattress that leans more towards the hard side. But which is very nice for your spine. Widows are completely sound proof.

it was super clean! the staff was polite and helpful. the location is great, it’s very close to 2 metro stations one which you would use for Main Train Station and one which you would use for going to the main attraction points (old town) and best of all both are direct so if you are a foreigner it’s super simple to use. the breakfast was good and the staff always made sure that there is enough of everything for everyone. Also the tables were constantly being cleaned so you would find a table to eat immediately. although we came by train/metro we saw that there was enough parking room and at a decent price considering the prices for parking in Munich. The location was also great because it was in a quiet neighborhood. It was definitely good and we will come back!

The hotel is quiet despite being located near a very busy road. It's near U2 u-Bahn line and there is enough parking place. Great for a quick stop while travelling.

No gluten free options for breakfast. It would be nice to minimally extend breakfast buffet with options for people with allergies. Lactose free milk, gluten free bread or vegan bread spreads.

Clean and new look hotel with friendly staff. Breakfast was very good. Relatively close to BMW museum.

The bathroom. I get the minimalism what so ever but its a mess taking a shower. The flush detailing (shower area takes up most of the bathroom floor) with a standart shower curtain makes a mess after taking a shower. I think a standart shower with glass partition would have been better like most similar hotels

The location was perfect for being on the outskirts of the city and attending BMW Welt! Staff were amazing, especially the welcome we received when we arrived early. Selection at breakfast was also really varied and decent quality as well.

Outside area could be better-looks unkept and as though it’s never been landscaped or maintained since it was built.

super clean, comfortable, staff was professional and helpful and extremely friendly. the rooms are modern with tons of different lights, cool shower, breakfast times are perfect and itself the breakfast was really good and various, check-out time is great. so clean, with an ice machine in the hallway. it was an extremely positive experience

wifi could be better !

The Location was perfect for our requirement. The rooms were very clean and provided the necessary stuff. For a single day or two this is the perfect place to relax. Very near to the Olympia park. Over all I would recommend others for the short stays.

Breakfast cold have been better, but I cannot say that now because of the COVID. But the staff were very good, they all had taken very good care. And in the evening my wife wanted to have a Hot Chocolate, but the canteen was closed, but one of the staff made a nice Hot Chocolate, that was so kind of him.

Everything new and perfect, friendly staff, a bit outside the city, but easy to acess with BUS or METRO. Breakfast nothing special just very good. Room was very clean (exclude the carpet) For the price, hard to find any better.

I could not find any safe for laptop in the room. Parking slot was too muddy.

The fact that the hotel is new and clean is a big plus. Comfortable bed. Wi-fi was very good, so was the breakfast - considering the room price and the fact that breakfast is included. We particularly liked the "to go" coffee and the vending machine downstairs. Very good value for money. Location was good ( we needed to be close to olympiapark ) , you can reach the subway to city center in less than 10 min.

Only fault : the A/C was not working, and we did get some pretty hot days ( the windows cannot be fully opened ).

Clean. Comfortable. Great toilet and room.

Free parking in front of the hotel. Staff did not want to say who owns it and if it is a public parking. He gave option to park for 20eur in their garage. We were already parked in front of the hotel, said he does not know if it is public parking (he definitely knew). Breakfast had pancakes, very nice but not the best ever. Small hotel, for breakfast it is getting very busy. Location is not very close to U-Bahn.
