Regal Hongkong Hotel

Location and the rooms were big with a window seat that we could lay out our 2 medium sized luggage to pack. Bathroom was large enough to have a large triangular bathtub in the corner. It was a block away from Soho, Wellcome and Ikea. Lots of restaurants around and Din Tai Fung next door. Housekeeping was accommodating enough to bring us ice and an adaptor. And the best part was the direct shuttle to the airport! Beats taking a taxi to the HK Airport Station and taking the train to the airport. Our bags were loaded into the shuttle and uploaded by the driver at the airport - we didn't have to lift a finger

The room definitely needs updating. The bathroom had mold in the sealants. Can get very noisy and chaotic in the lobby and reception with the number of guests. You could hear the noise in the lobby from the 2nd floor restaurant!

The staff were very welcoming and accommodating, we received a free upgrade to a room with a sea view, which was lovely. Rooms are spacious for Hong Kong, also very comfortable for working from the room for a couple of days and WiFi is decent. The location of the hotel is fantastic, convenient for transport, casual and fancy food options, tons of shopping and an easy 10 mins walk to Leighton Hill Community Hall for mandatory PCR tests too. Full breakfast with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, tomato and beans was excellent.

Two of the elevators were out of order during our stay which sometimes meant a bit of a wait but it really wasn't too bad.

Proximity on some of the best restaurants. Near the metro and shopping places! Clean and scenic room 😀

We realised that we are located in a connecting rooms where the noises from the opposite side were discouraging - could have been cause by a poor accoustic between two rooms…

We're 2 travellers staying in 1 room with just only 2 power outlets, not enough to charge phones and other gadgets. Outlet for shaver in the bathroom has no power. To be specific, our room is #1207.

Great location in heart of Causeway Bay with easy connections. Efficient front office staff; well maintained rooms; nice G/F lounge and 1/F dining outlet. Room size is adequate and reasonable by HK standards.

Rooms are dated - refurb would be in order, perhaps. Fitted carpet was loose and rippled. Linen and towels were great but the bed mattress was floating spring: these days one expects a pocket spring mattress.

Location, location, location. The hotel furnishing is old school but well maintained and I like their nostalgic decor and the spaciousness of the room unlike some newer hotels. Excellent.

Cannot find any fault, only the shower is leaking but it did not bother us at all.

Cleaning staff nice and helpful

Booked double bed big room and confirmed online. When check in, they tell you your room type have no double bed but you can pay extra to get a double bed room. After extra payment made, arrive the hotel room found room is downgraded without any notice. Feeling sad and not fair on this booking. Need to be care when check in.

Mattress is getting old and losing its support. Change them and refresh the hotel decor

Great sized room. An oldish design but good quality so it didn't bother me. Great location in Causeway bay.

Our beds were very soft and I could tell the mattress was passed it's used by date. The swimming pool wasn't open due to covid however on booking.com it said it was so we were a bit disappointed by that. Not the hotels fault though.

Location is excellent, close to lots of restaurants, shopping and transportation

There are 2 elevators that allow outside visitors to come up to the floors without using the room key to activate the elevator. Hence, security for residents are weak.
