Renaissance Hong Kong Harbour View Hotel

It was my first visit to Hong Kong, so booked this hotel due to its location. Upon arrival I received a complimentary room upgrade with a Harbour view on 36th Floor. What a view it was. Come down the hotel and ferry to Kowloon was at short walk and I could see the fairy port from my window. Live music every night, a nice relaxing but busy lobby. Everything was at a walking distance. Staff very pleasant. I will for sure shay here again.

I liked everything, however it will be nice if they offer a Halal breakfast option it will be just a perfect place to stay.

Good Hotel in central Hongkong. Very freindly staff and big outdoor pool. My room had a great view onto the harbour.

The standard rooms are small but big enough. This is standard inHongkong though.

Firstly I LOVE the front desk guy that checked us in. His name is Jason or James, sounded like Philippino guy. He was super nice & made us feel very happy checking in.

I didn’t like some of the housekeeping staff that were very unfriendly when we asked them for some stuff like ice for drinking (which we think she gave us non-drinking ice because one of us had a very bad stomache the next day). Didn’t like the buttons for housekeeping either as there wasn’t a button for don’t need housekeeping. It was just no doorbell or needed housekeeping. So we just left all our stuff on the floor one day we didn’t need housekeeping but they entered anyway. So that was unclear.

The Renaissance Hong Kong Harbour location combines everything. You are right in the middle. It is the best possible location for business and also for travelling. You can reach all the sightseeing spots short and easily. Important for me is the easy access to the convention hall. I travel there 2 a year to visit my suppliers during the fair. Perfect is that I can meet my suppliers if I want on the 42nd floor in the launch. The view from the launch is breathtaking, also from the room. The food and the drinks too. The personal will go out of their way to help and support you. You and your kids will love the huge pool on the 11th floor. There is a very relaxing atmoshpere. Even local people from Hong Kong will come to enjoy the outstide Restaurant/Bar. I enjoyed the DJ playing electronic launch music very much. The concierge will help me to ship my overweight/business products to ship by EMS safely to Germany. They will even bring it by Taxi to the post service. Thank you so much again. For me there is no better Hotel in Hong Kong. There might be fancier Hotels, but for not better ones.

The hotel with the best view during my stay in Hong Kong. Incredible view overlooking the harbour and Kowloon. Ample sized room that was very clean and a comfortable bed. Good location and not too far from the ferry terminals, though it may be a bit far to walk with a suitcase but if travelling light, then more than fine. Right in between Wan Chai and Central makes it convenient to visit either area. Would visit again.

Swimming pool closed but this seemed to be a common theme with other hotels too so maybe it's a time of year thing?

Nice location, great view, large pool. Friendly staff. Breakfast had a very large variation and was very good quality. When you reached the counter very friendly personal helping you.

pretty loud from the corridor, Breakfast was very good, but you have to know, it is a business Hotel, means many busy people. No relaxing during breakfast or check in/check out. The beer prices at the bar are ridcoulous

The hotel itself is great. Beautiful room, good position, excellent restaurant and bar.

What a pity that the bar (Mirage) only opens at 12AM. Also, we asked for a place where we could sit with clients and have a chat (both to pay for or for free, but away from crowd of the lobby). Everything was full, but I found (by myself) the swimming pool area, very nice and quite. I would have appreciated somebody of the hotel suggested that (or other suggestions, instead of telling me no options available).

An excellent hotel I would recommend to everybody. A great location close to harbour and Metro station. I had a nice, quiet and clean room, with a breathtaking harbour view. Hotel concierge was very helpful in planning our tour through Hong Kong. What is very important, whole personnel spoke very good English. The Menager on a duty at the reception desk presented high level of the culture and was very helpful during check in. Very High-quality service. I highly recommend the hotel restaurant. I was astonished by the taste and quality of the dishes. It is something you should try at this hotel. I would like to go back there.

Excellent Location. It is located next to a MTR station which makes travelling around Hong Kong very easy. Wanchai area is also nearby.

Not so many local eating stores nearby except for one cafe. If want local food, need to walk to Wanchai area. The noice insultation for the rooms are not so good. We had a noisy "neighbour" next door who made so much noise for two night that I called the front desk at 3.30 in the morning to report the issue.
