The Park Lane Hong Kong, a Pullman Hotel

Excellent location

Confusing the room types and tiers, the staff organised similar rooms and sizes when I got charged the price differently for every booking.

The location

The bathroom always has problems everything I stayed even this time I chose the new renovated room and paid extra for it. The shower room was flooded. A few years ago I stayed the toilet didn't go down.

I like that the hotel is just across Windsor House. It is beside Wellcome supermarket. Ikea is just below the hotel. There's also Decathlon shop on level 1. The area of the hotel is just walking distance a lot of shopping malls and dinning areas. The staff were very helpful and professional. I also like that they have automatic water purifier inside the room. It helped us not to buy water bottles outside. :)

I didn't like the online check-in part. It is not efficient especially towards tourist like us. The passports need to be scanned and it takes a lot of time. It can be improved I'm sure. You can also hear footsteps, people moving around, furniture being moved above our room. It would be better if the washlet can be changed to bidet for convenience.

Location wise the hotel is situated within easy reach of the MTR and also has 24 hr supermarkets round the corner which is was extremely convenient. The room was great although the decor was a little dated. The executive lounge had good facilities and the all day package works quite well for those interested. The staff were all very polite. The gentlemen at the door and also the ladies cleaning the room were all very polite.

Whilst the day package for use of the executive lounge is great but there was on occasion issues with charges. On one occasion having used the executive lounge for breakfast we requested at breakfast that we wanted the day package however only breakfast was charged t our room. When we returned there was a reluctance to remove the charge for breakfast and bill properly.

Excellent location, spacious (by HK standards) room, comfortable beds, nice 24h gym with sauna and roof top bar. Staff is also friendly and helpful. The location is very convenient - shopping, park, restaurants, 24h grocery, waterfront - everything is easily walkable. Hotel is very stylish. Room was cleaned properly on daily basis, mineral water was also replenished daily. WiFi worked fine. Great view from the room, even better from the roof top.

A coffee machine in the room would be a nice addition, considering the room price. Check in took a bit longer than it should, in spite of the fact that we did pre-registration and pre-paid security deposit.

The Park Lane Hotel, also known as The Pullman (be aware if you are looking for it on your map!), is in a great location in Causeway Bay, very close to shopping malls, restaurants, grocery stores, and the MTR Causeway Bay stop. It is also right across the street from Victoria Park which is a bonus. In such a densely populated city, it is really nice to just walk across the street and be in a green area. The restaurant on the main floor, called Ebb and Flow is great, super good staff and delicious set breakfasts and set lunches. I didn't get to enjoy the Skye Bar, as the weather wasn't conducive, but maybe next time. Overall, a very enjoyable stay.

My bed wasn't the most comfortable, the mattress was kind of hard and the pillows - all four of them! - were rock hard. Usually, when a hotel offers you four pillows, two of them are firm and two are soft, usually feather, but not in this case. I was only there a few days so I didn't bother asking Housekeeping if they had any other softer pillows, so I don't know if that was an option. It might have been.

Check in was slow and a pain. We arrived at 11am and was told to return at 2pm for the room key which we expected since check in time is actually at 2pm. We returned at 2:34 only to find out our rooms still not available, while they have been releasing rooms to guests who arrived much later than us. We got our room keys at 3:30. For whatever reason we cannot accept this delay. We are tired and in need to freshen up.

The location is great! The room is clean and the bed comfy. Wonderful place to rest after a day of exploring with lots of food options in the vicinity. My parents were given a room which had a faulty support bar in the bath area. When they informed the hotel, they were apologetic, and gave them a bigger room with a better view (LOL), nearer to the lift (more LOL) which really pleased them. The service crew were nice and friendly to us too.

Nothing, would definitely come back to stay again!

The room is sizeable and it provides a soothing view of Victoria Park with a bit of ocean view. The location of the hotel is very central to all transportation accessible to major districts. Another plus point is that the hotel provides more than enough bottle distilled water to the guests.

I was surprised that an enlarge mirror was absence in the bathroom. Majority of the hotels I stayed in the past payed good attention in this aspect. The garbage bins are too small to fit water bottles and other shopping wastes.

We stayed at the 25th floor facing the Victory park and have a partial harbor view. So it gives an open space feeling. The room is clean and we do like the new setting that there is a glass wall to separate the toilet from the shower. A bit privacy and not seeing the toilet when off the shower. The biz lounge breakfast is great and enjoy it. Do want to give a A plus to the staff. Very professional, and able to engage a small talk to feel the warm and welcome. This hospitality is across the hotel from check-in, service, and check-out.

The bar at the 27th floor is bit noise. Since it is open to public and it is understandable.
