Amman Marriott Hotel

At first, I was amazed by the property in the building itself, which I found very mesmerizing. But then, when I was welcomed by the friendly staff of the Marriott, Amman specially Mr. Sanad and Mr. Waseem I really felt like I was greeted by family, and I loved the hospitality and the great manner that they showed, as a Marriott Bonvoy member, I was also given the extra advantages on site and instantly which I also loved.

The breakfast was a little standard in my opinion, but it could be because I’m used to all five star hotels.

The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful, especially Fawaz on reception and Asem the concierge. We had a room on the 12th floor with a lovely view of Amman. The breakfast was excellent, and there was a good choice of restaurants for dining in the evening. It was very easy to arrange day trips/private transport with the partner taxi company, a representative of which was always present at the hotel. The level of English of the drivers, however, sometimes made it difficult for us to do the trip exactly as we wanted.

No complaints.

The hotel has everything you could want and is incredibly well designed and well kept. The rooms are quite large and the beds are wonderful. The staff is excellent and were always able and willing to help us. There are plenty of food options at the hotel and the breakfast is superb.

Just note that the indoor pool as part of the spa is not available for children. So if you go when it is cooler outside, any children will have to use the outdoor pool (which can be heated).

Had a great time staying for work at this place the breakfast was amazing and our Mr. Badran at the restaurant each morning was just great made my day :-) I would go back for sure! The rooms are big and the bed is very coortable.

1. The building is old and needs a renovation. 2. The customers at the pool unfortunately used their mobile devices inside the pool and the relaxing room speaking really loudly which finally caused us to leave.

Everything was perfect. Receptionist Sanad is very professional and also all other staff including breakfast reception lady.

One thing to enhance - the staff (breakfast and pool) they are always in hurry to give the bill and make sure that you pay before you finish eating which is not comfortable. Also that can avoid the customers to order more of the staff keep asking for the bill. Rest all good, thanks.

Great location , easy access to every where.. some of the staff were excellent, great customer service especially front desk young man call waseem was excellent and also the staff at the breakfast restaurant were exceptional too.

They run there own taxi service very expensive, they do not allow outside taxis to operate there, you would have to order uber or go outside the hotel to flag taxi..

The food was very good. All the staff were charming, helpful and polite. The Jordanian staff were extremely welcoming. The Philippine staff in the bar and restaurant were wonderfully efficient, friendly and kind. The executive lounge was a pleasant addition and the evening food and drink available with Executive status was a appreciated bonus, and I would return to the Amman Marriott and would have the same package to include Exec lounge, as this made my visit more economical. Thank you to all the management and staff. Khalid at concierge was extra helpful in helping me locate my lost luggage from the airport.

I would have liked to swim in the outdoor pool in the early morning at 6, 7 or 8 o’clock. I feel that 9am is quite late if your guests have to go to work and would like to swim before work.

Everything except the restaurant Paros which is not Greek as advertised and awfully noisy with awful music. The staff at the hotel are exceptional and treat guests like royalty. We loved our experience as the hotel has great public areas in the foyer area, a very nice pool, and hotel limo which charges taxi rates so a terrific deal. Hint….order the hotel limo in advance to meet you at the airport. Taxis in Amman only take cash so be prepared. The cigar lounge is a must for a really fabulous culinary experience with the same amazing service as every where else in the hotel.

Paros restaurant…give it a miss unless you are a teenager looking to rave on into the night.

We stayed at the hotel as a family to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary, as we had our wedding day and party at the Marriot Amman in 2012. The Incredible part is that the facility still looks excellent. Although The Marriot Amman is considered an old Hotel in the city, they are doing a great job of maintaining it to the best condition and you can genuinely sense true hospitality tradition. The First impression from the reception is always the key to a great stay, and the team at Marriot Amman are valid and up to the task with their friendly welcome , respectful attitude and immaculate embedded sense of courtesy. English Communication was perfect for most critical staff. The suite we stayed in was excellent, truly spacious, very clean, tidy and importantly it was very soothing and comfortable. The Room Service team were truly incredible and tidy. The variety of restaurants at the hotel is great, and we enjoyed our breakfast and dinner in two separate venues, and both were great. The outdoor swimming pool is relatively small and kid-friendly, and the pool staff were friendly and helpful. Our stay was truly worthy, relaxing and enjoyable. We were satisfied to witness the same high level of professionalism that convinced us to have our wedding at the hotel is still alive and vibrant. Our Thanks are not enough for all the staff and hotel management.

My stay was far too brief, one night without time for breakfast. Reception and check-in was very good despite the late hour (1am). The room was comfortable and quiet. The hotel arranged a Hertz car to meet me at the airport, which went well.

The aircon needed the room card to operate and there was quite a delay before it would work. I asked to change the time for my car back to the airport the next morning, and that message did not get passed on, so the car did not arrive. The situation was managed well by the helpful concierge though, by providing another car.
