Marble floors were extra cool in the heatwave! Airconditioning was working faultlessly! There was a microwave and kitchenette; and the lovely lady on my first day generously found me a kettle to use for a cup of tea. Every member of staff was so professional and ALWAYS friendly - didn't grab everyone's name but Justine was exceptionally great at her job! So nice to have smiling friendly faces on the front desk to greet you daily - ready and willing to help with any question. Finally the LOCATION - you are a mere hop, skip and jump away from the city's famous Gran Via. Take the one-minute short cut around the Shangri-La Dim Sim bar and you're suddenly on Madrid's busiest shopping street, with hundreds of restaurants, cafes, souvenir shops and takeaway places to choose from for meals, churros, coffee (or a four-euro frozen mojito during heatwaves!)

Noise carries through from room to room due to old architecture - however easily solved with a pair of earplugs. Lift is old and quite slow but shuts quickly, potentially catching little fingers or hands! Be cautious!

So close to all amenities including the metro so we went direct from charmartin train station metro to plaza de espania and the hotel was a 2 minute walk. All the shops bars and palace are walking distance

No kettle to make tea that’s all really. It was a large spacious room with kitchen so the 3 of us felt very comfortable it was just the kettle. You need to hold the shower head when turning the shower off or the head will fall down but this was ok. The air conditioning was excellent

Great location! Central and easy for access to public transport or to walk basically anywhere Staff are very helpful and giving good info on city and things to do.

The parking is the drawback: only limited space available and needs reserving. It was already fully book when we booked the room, so the only option available was a multi-storey car park nearby - very expensive!

The room and the bathroom were impeccably clean. All the furniture and equipment looked and felt very fresh and well taken care of. The people at the reception were alway friendly, smily and helpful. The room even inludes a smal, but practical kitchen area, kind of separate from the living area: so we had a dedicated spot to do some cooking, kind of hidden from the rest of the room.

I wish there was a small table with a couple of chairs to sit and open a bottle of wine over a quiet evening chat

Place was clean staff were friendly and assist you well.the bed was so comfortable my daughters wont want to leave their beds. Very near to centro you have all restaurants grocery near it. Definitely will come back to this place again

Nothing that I see maybe if they could provide a kettle not necessarily a complementary coffee, that will be great

Location was great. Staff excellent.

No plates, cups or cutlery. But staff did provide plates and cups when requested.

Very spacious room. Good AC. Good big bed. Excellent wardrobe space. Big bathroom. Liked the location. Microwave was nice to have.

Bad lighting in the bathroom. Kitchen area doesnt have plates, silverwear and such, but we weren't planning on using it anyway.

The location was perfect, close to plaza de España, Gran Vía and metro station. The people was very kind.

The room has a small kitchen, but they don't provide any kind of kitchenware, cutlery, nor cups for the tea. It has limited hot water, so it is quite hard that three people can take showers.

The Hotel has a great location. The room was very spacious and had a kitchen.

There was an issue with the shower, in which I wasn't able to regulate the hot water, but that was minor. Also there wasn't a soap bar available in the shower, but that was a minor issue as well.

Fantastic central location with plenty of motorbike parking available. We were met with a very friendly welcome from Serena in reception who was very helpful in storing our luggage & providing maps & directions to the locality. Excellent value for money & will definitely return.
