Vincci Centrum

There were several pluses. The location was great. It was relatively close to the main attractions in Madrid. The trains and buses are nearby. Taxis are literally at the front door of the hotel. The staff was extremely kind and helpful especially the cleaning people. They did a spectacular job keeping everything tidy for us. The breakfast buffet offered a good variety of food. It is definitely worth the investment. I didn't need to branch out and look elsewhere for breakfast. There was a refrigerator with the option to purchase beverages inside. I do appreciate having a mini fridge so I can put my purchased food/beverages. The room had great lighting. It was especially helpful as I was reading early morning to prepare my day. The bathroom was the best room. It offered a bathtub and a shower. There are huge mirrors and a makeup mirror which I enjoyed For the price, it is a great place to stay overall.

There were a couple of things that stood out. I am a nonsmoker and I don't enjoy the smell of smoke. On my floor I smelled smoke frequently. It wasn't pleasant. My room had a leak in the bathroom from the room above. Not the hotels fault but I was surprised to see drops fall through the lights. There wasn't a real place to store clothes and no iron with an ironing board in the room. There were hangers but it was only enough for one person's clothes rather than 2. My biggest peeve was around some of the amenities. I was given 1 instant coffee a day and had to buy coffee throughout the day. This is different from other hotels as they tend to give you a bit more free beverages (water, tea, and coffee). My room didn't have a view. My window faced a wall.

Lovely hotel at a perfect location near Madrid's Gran Via. Fresh, contemporary decor where cozy meets elegant. Our room was not terribly big but roomy enough to be comfortable. Nice firm mattresses, lots of fluffy pillows from standard to king sizes, helped us sleep like babies every night. When we arrived the room was COLD. The heater had broken, but the staff promptly set us up with a small heater and extra blankets that kept us warm all nights. The breakfast buffet, a large selection of fresh fruits, pastries, breads, coffees, teas, juices, eggs, sausages, and of course, the Spanish tortilla and jamones, more than satisfied us every morning. For those with gluten intolerances, you'll find a small designated gluten-free section. So thoughtful! The staff was always kind and helpful. We highly recommend Vincci Centrum. It made our stay in beautiful Madrid a wonderful one!

Wonderful staff, very friendly and helpful. Lovely complimentary sweets and drinks in the foyer. We were in Madrid for the Three Kings Festival in January and the staff gifted us candies and a welcome guide to Madrid on the first day and left cookies on our door on the 6th. The room was great with a nice view of the city. Location is fantastic, close to shops, theatres, restaurants, extremely central. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay again on returning to Madrid. Breakfast is complete with huge variety - cooked options, pastries, continental, juices, yoghurts etc.

The bathrooms have a frosted glass door with no lock and gaps around the door itself. It would be preferable to have a sealed door for privacy. Also, no toilet brush in the bathroom which is a necessity but small complaints in the grand scheme of things.

Excellent breakfast options. Good range for a longer stay. Room was comfortable although window looked into central well, not street. Very good air con while Madrid was at almost 40 degrees!

All good. Although I paid in full when arriving at the hotel, the deposit held when making the booking is still pending on my bank account (7 days after checking out).

I stayed for one night only but enjoyed every minute. The hotel was superb, very central location minutes from the nearest metro and a 5 minute walk from Sol and Gran Vía. The room was a good size and the beds were very comfortable. The standout feature of this hotel however was the breakfast - a huge selection from a typical English/Irish breakfast through to continental style. The quality of the food was very good, some lovely freshly baked bread and a large range to suit all tastes. A nice touch was having lemon and cucumber flavoured water available on arrival in the reception area. Everyone was very courteous and professional, nothing seemed too much trouble and his attention to detail was spot on. In fact all the staff were really pleasant and professional, they couldn't do enough for you. Top class service.

Nothing really, we could not fault the hotel, the location or the staff. We will certainly come back again and stay on our next trip to Madrid.

Our waiter, Elvis, was very courteous and professional, nothing seemed too much trouble and his attention to detail was spot on. In fact all the staff were really pleasant and professional, they couldn't do enough for you. It was great to be able to leave the bags at the end of our stay also and take advantage of our last day unencumbered as our train didn't leave until the evening. Top class service.

Stayed here 6 nights. Location is great to navigate the large city of Madrid. Nice size room. Comfortable bed. Great shower that didn't leak onto floor. TV had Chromecast so we were able to watch some TV in English at end of long days. Room was quiet. Room was nice and clean but not fancy other than robes which was nice bonus.

Air conditioner did not get super cold. It was ok for us because most days were low 80's but in the super hot months room would not get very cool. Lights near the beds were just hanging light bulbs with only a clear shade so were too blinding to have on (assume it was for decorative purposes but poor chose in our opinion). We have stayed at several Vincci hotels during our 1 month of travels in Spain and while this one was nice it was lesser than the others.

The location of the room is very good, it is located on the street next to the Four Seasons Hotel, surrounded by the banco espana area, there are some government agencies, the security is good, and it only takes about ten more minutes to walk to various popular places. Taxis can be parked at the door, which is convenient for travel. When you have large luggages, you can get on and off just at the door without walking more.

No welcome water in the room, and it costs several times much than others, and only very small size bottle of water. Suggest you buy it in alimentation for 0.7 euros, the same brand of water in the room cost 2.75euros. And early morning there's too much noise that I was waken up at around 10am on weekend morning.

I have stayed in this hotel at least 5 times. Every time I come back to Madrid, I will book this hotel habitually. It is located in the city center and very close to everywhere I want to go. I have stayed in many hotels in Madrid, and this one is generally very cost-effective. The rooms are newly decorated, reasonably configured, and the size is reasonable. For similar prices, the configuration here is the most comfortable.

No welcome water in the room.

Great location very close to the major Museums, Centrally located, 1' from the Sevilla Metro Station. Very close to Gran Via, which is the major road of the city, with shopping centres etc. For those who like walking like me, its very easy to walk almost in allover the city center. Reina Sofia Museum, Retiro Park, El Prado Museum, Purta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, Mercado de San Miguel, Royal Palace, Plaza de Espana, Temple of Debod etc The room was nice and big. The bar and breakfast area look cozy and the breakfast was rich.

Decoration of the bedroom could be more attractive, with more details. Safebox doesn't need to be above the fridge.
