Gran Hotel Nagari Boutique & Spa

Having had a bad experience at a highly rated Exe hotel, we treated this booking with caution and initially booked for one night. Our caution was misplaced. One glimpse at the room had us immediately returning to the front desk to extend our stay a further two nights. The entire hotel is spotlessly clean. The housekeeping is superb, and there's lots to do. The staff are welcoming with good English spoken. The hotel is furnished beautifully, and materials used are of the highest quality. There's no plastic covered chipboard here. The floor in our room (Standard Double) was Teak, the shower set with marble and the premium jacuzzi bath cleaned and disinfected daily. The linen and towelling were of an equally high standard, and bottles of (free) water replaced every day. Parking our motorcycle beneath the hotel was easy in what appeared to be a dedicated motorcycle bay immediately adjacent to a lift to reception. The spa pool area on the roof was worth every penny (€25 per hour, booked in advance). Although enclosed, in good weather, the staff partially open it and it feels very luxurious. Everything works. Nothing is broken. The breakfasts are varied and plentiful, and the atmosphere is relaxed and calm.

There was nothing to dislike.

This is an excellent hotel which is ideally located on one of the central gardens and within a few minutes walk of the old down and waterfront. All staff were very attentive and could not have been more helpful. We enjoyed the rooftop pool and spa treatment on level 1 noting that additional costs apply to both of these. The bar fridge contained a range of drinks and snacks at reasonable prices. This was a case of you get what you pay for and represented very good value for the facilities and service provided.

Access to the front of the hotel is via a restricted roadway shared with pedestrians. Access to the parking is area from the street behind, however, hotel staff were readily on hand to park the car.

A beautiful hotel next to the Christmas Market. It is exceptionally nicely designed and my room was beautiful and comfortable (as was the bed). Breakfast was very nice. The restaurant looked entincing. Last but not least, the staff was very friendly and helpful. My room request was honoured, which is always a very pleasant experience. (I am aware that sometimes this is not possible - so it is a nice plus, when it happens).

Location - short walk to the old town and the pier. Bedroom was modern, spacious, comfy bed, no noise. Breakfast was great. Overall, it was a great stay and we would love to come back.

The transparent glass in the bedroom from the bed to the toilet meant that I saw my wife do things I didn't want to see. The rooftop pool isn't included in the price and you need to reserve a specific time so we didn't get to enjoy it.

Good price point for the standard. Staff were helpful when my plans kept changing, offering late check out and then additional nights at a fair price.

Some of the electronic features in room room where difficult to figure out, eg master light switch to turn off all lights at night. TV controller was hard to figure some buttons where toggle switches not push buttons. The room phone had no numbers listed for reception/ room service. This was on the key card but not obvious. Would have been nice to use the pool without having to book the Spa. Most 5* hotes have pool access included but to be fair the room cost is good.

The hotel is a fine boutique hotel with a very nice restaurant in the large fishing port of Vigo. On the roof is a very nice pool and good views of the port. There is a spa which I didn't use however it looked like they have fully up to date and world class facilities. Room was spacious and comfortable. For the short business/social trip that I was on, this was an excellent option

Some local noise from local clubs. Other than this the hotel is excellent.

The staff are fantastic. They go the extra mile every time. Very professional and alert - it is always fantastic to get a smile and a wave, as well as a greeting by name, every time you enter the facilities.

The rooms images on the net are a tad bigger in photo than in real life. I was expecting (as I had upgraded my stay at extra cost) a more spacious room. Don't bother with spending extra on upgrades if you are considering it.

Very great hotel, bright room, great location.

I found it unusual that a 5* hotel charges hotel guests a fee for using the spa (pool, 25€). I liked the coffee machine in the room a lot but as a minor comment - the (no name) coffee capsules deserve an upgrade, the taste was below standard…

Totally beautiful accommodation with all facilities one can desire and the professional welcoming staff from the reception the restaurant or bar adds to the great experience; truly a must stay in Vigo.

No negative points to raise; a 100% satisfied!

We were there for a week (not our first stay there and hopefully not our last) and although the location is perfect, the rooms and facility excellent, I can’t speak highlier of the staff, who made our stay fabulous. They got to know us and anticipated our needs and wants. The restaurant was very good as well. Would definitely recommend this hotel if your staying in Vigo.
