Hotel del Mar Vigo

This hotel is a couple of minutes away from the airport bus stop. The staff was very accommodating, keeping our bags for the day before the check-in time. The room was quite big, with a spacious bathroom and large wardrobe that may be helpful for these staying longer.

There was only one plug in the room, and nowadays we need to charge multiple devices. A multi outlet plug would make our life easier. The TV was not working properly (physical buttons were not responding as they should, and the remote was not set for that brand), but anyway, we were not planning to use it.

Comfortable bed, breakfast for 8 Euros good.

I chose to upgrade from the original room I reserved. The upgraded room had a window that opened onto a very small enclosed courtyard, more like a shaft between the internal rooms with a roof. There was no fresh air as the shaft was enclosed and no natural light. How can that be an upgraded room? Luckily, I was able to change the room to a large comfortable room with a window onto the street that I was able to open for fresh air and light.

The staff were very kind and super helpful. Good coffee and daily menu at a very good price. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. The room was cleaned every day and towels changed faster than I could use them :) The location is unbeatable, and there are many good restaurants and cafés nearby. I'm sure to stay here the next time I'm in Vigo.

At first I was given a smaller room than the one I booked, but when this was sorted out, everything went great.

Comfortable and good value room centrally located in Vigo. The coast is just a block away and the old town is a 5-10 minute walk. A good value place for walking the Camino. We asked to leave our big backpacks for a day as we were returning the next day to Vigo to catch a train to Porto and it was easier to walk to Pontevedra on the Camino with small bags. The staff were very helpful and let us do this, which helped us out a lot and we were very thankful.

I really enjoyed the location of the hotel. It was close to the places that I wanted to visit. There are many food options near the area as well. The room was also a great size for everything that I brought with me. Although I did not utilize it much, the storage space was also a great bonus. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. We had a very early flight and they were able to get a taxi for us which arrived within minutes of the call. Would definitely stay here again.

The location was perfect, close to the port and to the center. The staff was really kind and helpful. The bed was really comfy.

People next door arrived at 12.30 am and they were talking until later than 1.30 am. I could hear them but I always take ear plugs with me to avoid this. It's not the hotel's fault but the people not being very aware and respectful.

Well located to restaurants and cafes. Nice walking along the foreshore.

The room was quite warm and no way to get fresh air as the only window opened into a covered courtyard. We tried to get breakfast in the morning, waited nearly 30 minutes then left as we needed to be on our way.

Nice little suite in great location. Simple accommodation.

Paper thin walls meant you hear other guests especially at night when trying to sleep, this didn't last long as they settled down within an hour of returning.

Very clean, excellent location, comfortable beds

The window was internal and there was a lack of natural light, however this is not a big issue. During morning hours guests were quite loud.

The room was big and the staff was great. The beds were comfortable and the location was also very good.

There is no free parking, the one nearest was 18.25€/day. Also, the shower has no door and the both room ends up getting easily wet.
