Center Hotel- Sure Hotel by Best Western Center

It was very easy to check in and staff were friendly and helpful. Room wasn't too bad, fairly basic but large and had all the basics needed for a night. Great view out to the harbour and just down the road from Stenpiren stop, so really easy to access. Breakfast was fantastic!

Everything was pretty good, though the bathroom light didn't work very well and with no windows in there it was a bit dark! Also, I tried to have a shower but the knob to divert water to shower from faucet wasn't connected. I did report these to reception though and it wasn't the biggest deal!

Location is quite central, walkable to most of tourist attractions. Good variety of breakfast. Coffee and juices available anytime. Waffle is provided in the afternoon. Biscuits all day and night.

Variable speed of wifi. Toilet is small. Ventilation not working hence damp all over when taking a shower. Dislike the shower curtain due to unpleasant smell.

overall it was very good from the start of the service at the receptionist, the condition of the room was very good, welcome drinks and snacks were provided, breakfast was available varied to a very strategic location in the middle of the city making it easier for us to reach all places, the view was also quite beautiful on the edge of the harbour, I hope one day I can come back to this beautiful city

Nice comfortable hotel, great location close to the centre of town. Very helpful and friendly reception staff. Our room was very clean, with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was very good with a wide choice of food to suit everyone. A very nice touch was tea and coffee facilities were available in the dining area all of the time.

I think that the hotel did everything I expected and is good value for money, I have no faults to find here.

I liked the size of the room which was good for two adults and two kids. Also, I really liked the 'Fika' cookies, coffee and juice are available all the time. The breakfast was good of different types of food. The staff was very helpful. I needed to check out early to catch the flight and we were able to get breakfast.

Nothing really, but there was one elevator which is not big

The hotel building is old and the floors in the common corridors sometimes creaked when you walked, and the lift is new and quiet. The hotel is right next to a street with a tram, others may be uncomfortable with the sound, I had no neighbours or they were quiet. Breakfast was hearty, good choice. Staff very polite and helpful. Location,right next to the seafront, I didn't have a problem getting where I wanted to go in 15 minutes. I didn't use public transport at all, I just walked to everything.

The best part of my stay was my interactions with the reception staff, namely Alexander who went out of his way to help me. He was charming, efficient and had impeccable English. He was so kind and obliging and really helped me. I do hope he gets to see this review of his work :)

Room was small and a tad stifling as in the temperature but for a budget two night stay, I accept that.

The location was great place to be in. Easy access to tram station to go to university. Breakfast was really good. It was so great that they even packed breakfast for my flight. Room was bit tiny but was okay for single person. But cleaning was really good. They even cleaned everyday which was really good. Especially I loved the staffs there. They were very kind and helpful.

We really liked the place - it was priced good, the location is quite solid for visiting Goteborg centre and reaching the bus for the airport, our room was warm, spacious and had comfy beds. Included breakfast was a bonus.

The to-go breakfast for early check-out could be better - basic watery coffee and orange juice, two miniature sandwiches, an orange. Better coffee and a bit more food goes a long way. Also, our double bed were two single beds put together - if you are going to do that then secure the bed legs together or something like that.

Superb value! Pleasant staff, huge, well decorated spotless room, unlimited bean-to-cup coffee, pancakes at 16:00, very good breakfast and a great location!

Maybe the foyer and breakfast area are a little 90s hotel, with lots of beech-effect melamine.. which is a shame as the property has/had some lovely original features, like a beautiful wrought iron staircase. Get rid of the cheap modern fittings and take the building back to its glory days, put back original features and make a better first impression!
