I recently had the pleasure of staying at the ProfilHotels Opera Hotel, and I must say it was an exceptional experience that surpassed all my expectations. From the moment I stepped into the hotel lobby to the time I checked out, every aspect of my stay was filled with comfort, and impeccable service. Upon entering, I was greeted by a team of attentive and friendly staff members who immediately made me feel welcome. Their genuine smiles and eagerness to assist set the tone for the exceptional service that awaited throughout my stay. The location of the the ProfilHotels Opera Hotel was another advantage. Situated in the heart of the city, it provided convenient access to major attractions, shopping districts, and transportation hubs. I'll be back definitely in my next stay.

The room was very quiet, nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast options were amazing, with lots of choice! Our first night we made a reservation in the hotel restaurant, although the menu was simple the quality of the food was delicious. The Oak bar was cosy and nice to lounge in while we avoided the rain. We also used the spa facilities, which again were very clean and easy to use.

Getting from the room to the spa facilities required walking through to the reception area and using the elevator option the check-in desk. No robes were provided and towel needed to be collected from the reception desk. However, we had already purchased the spa access when making our reservation, so towels for the Spa could have been left in our rooms with the keycard to make the process less time consuming for the staff on reception.

-The hotel is excellently located. It is only 1-2 minutes walk from both the Central Train Station and Nils Ericsson Terminalen (which is where the bus to/from the airport stops. There are also a range of bars and restaurants nearby. All tourist attractions are also close by, including Haga which is about 15 minutes away on foot. The rooms in the hotel are comfortable and contain a range of amenities. There are tea and coffee making facilities, an iron and high quality toiletries. I found the bed to be exceptionally comfortable - soft with high quality linens. I had one of the best sleeps I have had in any hotel. The room was also very clean. The hotel itself is clean and modern throughout. The hotel bar, called ‘oak bar’ is beautifully decorated and serves a range of alcoholic drinks at reasonable prices. Overall, I had a very comfortable stay and would happily stay here again if I return to Gothenburg.

-As other reviews have said, the restaurant can get very busy during breakfast. However, this is easily avoided by going either early or late. You just have to avoid the peak times (which are shown in the elevators: 7:00-8:00, Monday -Friday, 9:30-10:30 Saturday and Sunday).

The location is fantastic, only a short few minutes walk from the central train station with excellent access to shops, restaurants and transport options. The room was nice, clean and cozy. Breakfast was enjoyable, the restaurant is nice and quiet with a good selection of hot and cold food.

The bed did feel a little worn, with a slight dip towards the middle of the mattress. We could also not control the temperature of the room and it got quite warm (probably partly because of the laptop we had running). But once I called reception they offered to either upgrade our room or arrange to give us a fan. I chose the latter and it helped a lot!

ProfilHotels Opera was in the perfect location for us. Right outside the Göteborg train station and close to the main shopping centre Nordstan and the outside shopping district of Nordstaden. It's also in close proximity to the main team and bus terminals for travel in and around Göteborg. The reception was really large and comfortable, perfect for somewhere to sit while waiting to depart or have a drink on an evening (if the Oak Bar is closed). If you wanted a little more peace, you can go to the right of the reception and find further seating outside the conference rooms. The room itself (we had room 508) was spacious and really comfortable. We had a great view out the front of the hotel, so we could see the train and tram/bus stops. There was very little noise from outside, as a result of the well insulated windows. The bathroom had a good amount of space and can easily fit 2 people in it at the same time if needed. We would definitely recommend this hotel if you're staying for just a few days or a week. Any longer than that, you may want something a little more spacious.

The main issue was breakfast. For the size of the hotel, the restaurant really is far too small. In peak times, it just cannot cope with the volume of people. On both of the mornings we had breakfast there, the staff couldn't empty and clean the tables fast enough. As a result, we were finding we had to find a table and clear it ourselves to be able to sit at it.

The location is perfect, near everything important. Breakfast is well served, a lot of swedish options as well as international options. The staff is always ready to help. It was a great stay. The closet inside the room has an empty frigobar and they displayed coffee, tea and carbonated water for free for us to drink, it was really nice. Kudos! The hotel products such as the shampoo, shower gel, etc are good too.

I believe it could display an infographic on how to use the heat system for non-European/ swedish clients. And also how to turn on the lights. I know it sounds pretty basic but I struggled a lot with that at the first moment, because when you turn the light on it is really soft and you can control the intensity, I didn't know that at first. But honestly, that's it. 10/10

Location is very central - close to Central Train Station, bus station, shopping street and restaurants. The parking arrangement that the hotel has with Nordstan Shopping Centre parking is convenient. Just park you car and then make payment when you check into the hotel. There are also EV charging points in the car park. Helpful and polite customer service. Toiletries and hairdryer are provided.

We stayed for 2 nights. Breakfast selection was the same both mornings. Also the breakfast area is not big enough to accommodate many guests. Be prepared to share a table with others. The shower in the bathroom was leaking. Someone needs to do regular maintenance or checks.

My second time here, a few steps from the Central Station/Bus station and surrounded by shops and places to eat. Both times I've been here I've been checked in very quickly with minimal fuss. Nice breakfast included with the rate I paid. Was fairly warm in the room and no aircon as it's an older traditional building, might be an issue for some as potential for noise from the street if you leave the windows open overnight for air.

The hotel is perfect to experience the city centre of Göteborg as its in the middle of it! The hotel is very neat and fancy, which made the atmosphere perfect. The room looked and felt great and the ventilation was perfect. The day of checkout we ran into some problems which were completely my fault, but were resolved by the receptionist as if she was personally responsible! She was very professional and kind and made me feel at ease.

The parking was not properly explained in advance, as it's not right at the hotel, but in the shopping centre next to it instead. It's about a 5 minute walk to the hotel.

Room was basic but more than adequate. With Dumbbells! Shower worked well. Location is very handy for travel to/from the airport and train station. Breakfast was exceptionally generous and tasty. Nice large waiting area. Reception has luggage storage.

For the price nothing. In general would appreciate a larger bathroom, and and more pleasant route to the room (walk to elevator felt a bit dingy, corridors were narrow and dark).
