Hilton Ras Al Khaimah Beach Resort

We loved that it was remote and away from the hustle and bustle of Dubai. It’s a large resort so we were happy to stay there for the 6 days and didn’t feel the need to venture outside as we were there for pure relaxation. This may not suit people who like to be close to a good range of shops and restaurants as there didn’t seem to be much in the local area outside of the hotel. All the restaurants and bars offered a good selection and great service. Every member of staff we came into contact with was helpful, polite and friendly. Some did tend to struggle if you asked for anything that differed slightly from the menu, for example, I asked for a cocktail one evening but instead of whiskey I wanted them to use a different spirit. All were shown on the menu but he said he could not do it, which I thought was odd. A little more training in this area would improve the customer experience.

A lot of the communal areas are in need of an update. The pool, beach and restaurants are fine but hotel corridors badly need decorating and the bathroom in our room was quite dated. Also, the mini bar fridge was just sat on the floor in the room rather than in a cupboard.

Pet friendly

that pets don't have access everywhere. there should be an indoor restaurant or coffee shop that should allow dogs when it gets too hot outside. my checkout time was 2pm but because I had dog I had to literally beg them to check me out by 3 30 because I had to take a work call and I could leave him alone anywhere outside. kindly consider this just as we are humans they need to be treated with respect as well.

Usually the Breakfast is till 11am but here it got closed at 10:30. While the guests were still eating, the staff had cleared all serving spoons which was very rude. I went there for my marriage anniversary and we were offered a cake and room decoration at the time of check-in. however, no one came for these promises and we had to call and request for the same.

The property was great, service was very average. The experience of going through booking.com was very poor, The price quoted was 40% higher than booking directly with Hilton and I did not get the benefits of the point. Lesson learned will never book through Booking.com again for branded hotels. I have been a customer of Hilton and Booking.com for several years but not anymore.

The experience with Booling.com was pathetic and I will be including this in my travel blog. The hotel could not confirm late check out till the last hour which was a first for me over the last 10 years with Hilton. The service was very slow both inroom as well as outddor in restaurants.

We had 2 rooms. One villa and one 3rd floor hotel room. The villa was superb. Right in the beach, very spacious and comfortable. Would consider staying there again. The hotel staff were amazing. We have 3 children and all the hotel staff we came across knew their names.

Cleanliness of bathroom shower: appeared to be some build up of fungus / mould which was off putting, especially in the room in the main hotel. The choice of food in the buffets restaurant could be improved. Other Dubai hotels have better selections. To us, this was the main criticism of the resort.

All the staff were exceptionally good. Nothing was ever a problem & so many happy smiley faces (staff) Our room was very good & the lad who cleaned it was excellent. Overall, the food was good. We enjoyed the buffet for breakfast, lunch & evening meals. To break things up, we also ate a la carte. The service at all the restaurants was very good. We weren't struck with the Italian restaurant, but we talked to people who loved it. The Lebanese restaurant was a bit mixed for the starters were excellent the mains over cooked. Vida was good but delivery of food too rushed. The best restaurant for us by far was The Sol bar, the sea food was very good.

Breakfast was TOP. Huge variety and all very delicious. Beach was really nice and a good extension. Villas have a lovely architecture and really well located on the beach. Gym also well equipped with new and varied workout machines. Staff very kind and polite always available to help. Amazing spot for families with little children. Very relaxing atmosphere. Variety of beach bars with nice food offer and relaxing music (not too loud) and beach like architecture.

Common areas inside the hotel were very cold. AC was too high. Important to be (and show) more conscious of environment. Lounge chairs were old and most were low quality plastic. Not the most sustainable materials and cheap look. There was a huge company event in the hotel outdoor main area for far too many hours (9am-6pm). Unavoidable to bother hotel guests with so many people in the area and so loud music. It would be interesting to consider exclusively the far end restaurant for external events (which I understand have to happen as well) with its separate access.

We stayed at a Beach Front access villa. Excellent interiors, size, 2 Queen beds with easy access to a really good sandy beach that was good for the kids. We stayed in a villa closer to the main hotel which made it easier for our little kids The Restaurants - Vida (South American/ Carribean) & Al Maeda (the Lebanese) - were excellent - they also have good music. The Kitchen (buffet for all inclusive) had pork for breakfast which was a nice surprise. The Sol bar (which also served food) was also a nice alternative to change it up. Our family loved this Resort. Its definitely a really good quality one even considering the UAE's high standards We paid a bit extra for the upgrade to a beach access villa & for the all-inclusive package - and we were so thankful that we did as they are excellent Wonderful family memories and experience here

There was nothing we did not like

What a wonderful place! A hotel that makes you feel like you're home, so many miles away! Surrounded by wonderful beaches with breathtaking sunsets and marvelous waters, where you just love to be at... Several pools are also available, and you even get the chance for a warm night swim… And the food! Breakfast or dinner, with several options that allow you to taste the many different flavors of the Middle East and the surrounding cultures! Adding to that, a staff so nice and kind that really makes you feel welcomed!!! I almost forgot I was working during my stay… We definitely want to go back!
