The location and the view are terrific..staff are very helpful

food was not ok for both the taste and quality. the food did not meet the expectation of InterContinental standard. I did had breakfast and banquet in the evening. everything was poor in taste and quality. Breakfast is only fair, seems like there are a lots but there was a duplicate station such eggs station. I was also disappointed at the reception desk when checking out as one girl seemed to understand that I asked her for the receipt when she approached and asked me how I satisfied with the stay. After 15 mins waiting, I had to ask her again for that then she started asking other GSA to get the receipt for me. I suggest the communication skill of GSA should be better than my experience.

Super nice and new property. The staff is nice and friendly. I like that, despite it being a large property, everything felt within reach - the pool, pool bar, and beach (unlike Waldorf, for example). They had a DJ playing by the pool on the weekend. The breakfast was good and had a wide variety.

The pool closes at 7pm for some odd reason and along with it the music. I get that it's a family hotel but 7pm is way too early for a "destination" hotel where people go to have fun. When the hotel is fully booked, the breakfast buffet seating area does not fit everyone so we were placed in the seating area of the restaurant next door (usually open for lunch and dinner). It wasn't bad, just a bit inconvenient to walk across the hotel lobby with food plates.

Breakfast is amazing, wide variety of food, and everything is very tasty. Cuisine in overall is great, ingredients are fresh and of high quality. Staff is very friendly and helpfull. Service is top, as it should be in Intercontinental or other 5 star hotels. Swimming pool is great, big size and of comfortable depth (1.45 m). Sports animation and activities everyday for kids and adults. Territory is well kept, very nice.

It seems that hotel was accepted from developer in a hurry, the quality of finishing is not yet there. One can notice cracks or some untidy painting here and there. It is noticeable that built material is of high quality, but it is a pity that it was not handled properly. In the rooms usual amenities were missing - tooth brushes, some body lotions, creams etc. It would be nice touch to have fresh fruits on arrival and every day, but it was also not there. The beach is not for kids or unexperienced - it gets deep quite steep.

The property was very tastefully designed, the rooms were beautiful, the beach was pristine clean, the staff were super friendly I even had the head of human resource and other senior staff come visit us at breakfast to ask if we’ve been well taken care of, if the food was good, if we had any feedback and so on. the hospitality was impeccable. Special mention to Rasheed from valet services for going above and beyond to help us and beach staff Darshana who had the widest smile running around helping everyone and personally taking care of guests.

there really wasn’t anything not to like, however the pool’s deep end wasn’t too deep and would have been nice to have it deeper for adults, we loved and enjoyed it eitherways! it would have also been nice to have some water sports on the beach like jet skis etc which I was told will be launched later, so all the best team IHG RAK.

the smell, room size, furniture, layout, the balconies, the view, the facilities (teen club, kids club), The activities, The pools, The resturants, the staff service, the cleanliness. The staff and management attidude supporting and inspecting smooth operation to insuring our happiness and comfort in each facility experience or activity. Management team also working hard on ground .

the large number of cars parked at the front, gives indication of busy hotel and uncomfortable fealing specially while trying to reach to drop off area. No electrical Vehicle charging point.

facilities, amazing&helpful staff - everyone went out of their way to help. the hotel is brand new, so there is still a bit of confusion, however the staff is working extremely hard to please and be helpful with anything.

room cleaning wasn’t as exceptional as everything else. the location (it’s on an island) makes a lot of waves on the shore, so it’s hard to swim in the sea with little children. however, there is not much that the hotel can do. pool and beach facilities are great nevertheless.

the hospitality of the staff who are very knowledgeable , the crispy fresh feeling of the room , the great view I had , the nice amenities , restaurants are super !

can’t really find a negative aspect , I just can’t wait to return there !

Pools. A . An amazing resort hotel with the most amazing facilities, location and restaurants. It's worth getting the Club rooms with the Club access as they have a great private lounge and swimming pool with a jacuzzi. This resort has the most beautiful villas with pools and some wothout

Everything was great!

What a perfect escape for the weekend. The room we booked was Club Continental, but, we were lucky enough to be upgraded. Thank you Mr. Shabaz and tactful lady at reception. The room has got the grand terrace with magnificent sea view all over. The room facilities were totally modern, clean, and spacious. Because of the Club Access, we stayed at club lounge where we can have the afternoon tea, cocktails, and wonderful breakfast. The staffs were well mannered and attentive. We really loved and already booked for the next visit!!

everything was amazing, incredible. Food was awesome the place was breathtaking.

I waited long time for my room, more than 2 hours. so checkin was not so pleasant cause I could not enjoy the facilities right away. still they gave us a drink and we were able to do a late check out. if I coming back???definitely we will.
