The location was excellent in the middle of the heart of the old city of Berat. Everything is reachable by foot, the castle by foot is nearly 10 minutes away but a little bit difficult because of the inclination, it is also reachable even with car. The host was very friendly and helped us with information. The architecture of the hotel was very good and shows the characteristics of traditional building. The breakfast was traditional.

I would have liked bigger covers of bed. For tall people like my friends they were a little bit short. During the day was a bit noisy but at night was everything quite. If you are with car is a bit difficult for parking.

The hotel says it has "Free parking" but it does not. There is a small cramped space in front of the hotel where you can fit about 3 cars. Which is not enough for all guests and you block each other, so if you want to leave you might have to find 2 other hotel guest to let your car out. The breakfast eggs are prepared beforehand so sometimes they are only lukewarm/cold when you go for breakfast. I would rather wait a few minutes for the eggs to be freshly prepared then have it ready but be cold. You can set the target temperature for the A/C but it does very little. You just have to alternate between turning it on and off to get a comfortable temperature

The property is on a great location. Walking distance from castle, shops, restaurants, bars, … The room and toilet very clean, we felt comfortable and welcomed.Breakfast was very good too with many choices of local jam, honey, bread, fruits, tomatoes, cucumber, eggs . The reception guy was friendly and helpful with the luggages, also asked what time we preferes the breakfast and presented it nicely …. Over all a great experience. Thank you

The reception room could have more day light if possible. A brighter room will make customers feel a more warmer welcome.

Beautiful apartment in a historical building, right in the middle of the Berat, beneath the castle. The room was clean and comfy and the breakfasts delicious. The owner personally waited for us until very late at night because our flight was delayed by many hours, even though he had his own flight to catch the following day, I really appreciate this. Great place to stay in Berat.

The hotel is very cozy and beautiful, the rooms very comfortable with private bathrooms, both of good size. The breakfast was very nice with an Albanian dish, and the location was perfect. The service was perfect, all the people who worked there were super nice. In the end we regretted not staying more time. If you want a quiet place in the historic part of the city with quick access to bus, stores, restaurants and the Berati castel this is the one.

The property was very well kept, and beautiful on the inside, and out! My room was very spacious and was more than enough for just me. With a beautiful view of the mountains on the morning. The staff were very nice and friendly, with the host on the first morning providing me with a HUGE banquet selection, just for me! Really going above and beyond with selection and service. The room was very well lit, and even had UK plugs in the wall! It seemed like a reasonable small hotel, what is ideal for someone like me, who likes the more chilled and casual setting! Less people = less noise!

I booked the double or twin room, but the room had 3 single beds in. So in February when you almost rolled out the bed, the cover lifted up and sent a chill up whatever body part was sticking out the single cover! The warm AC was running, so took the chill out of the air, but mainly booked the double or twin room for the larger bed to avoid falling out a single, and wrapping myself up like a burrito in the larger cover!

The location was great, in the historic centre, the room was super clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was good with everything you need. The host is a kind man bit he can't speak English but nowadays you have google translate so it's not a problem.

As the location is in the historic centre, parking was a bit of a problem but our host helped us to find one.

Beautiful location in the old town, down the beautiful castle (advice: park down the hill, by the hostel, not up!) The staff is a couple who kindly stayed late for us and prepared breakfast with fresh fruits. Rooms are really clean and comfy, mixing both modern and traditional style.

The room was very cozy! The staff was very responsive and really kind. The location is good: it’s close to the center (not even 5mins away walking from the main supermarket) and at the bottom of the hill that leads to the castle. Tasty traditional breakfast!

Poor wifi! It could have been a bit cleaner! (We found lots of dust on the floor)

Perfect location. Small but charming rooms. Perfectly modern bathroom. Nice and clean. Friendly hotel staff. Good breakfast. Parking at the hotel was somewhat tricky but thanks to the nice and helpful guy at the front desk everything went smoothly and to our full satisfaction. Great value for money! Don’t hesitate.

Sound insulation could be better between rooms. But not a problem really.
