Firstly I have to mention the staff.... really lovely people, specifically, Arber, Melina and Roza who all helped in their own specific ways during our stay. Thank you. Absolute credits to this hotel and valuable assets. Arber helped with our payment issue as I has left the card at home and he arranged with the owner to debit my card without it being present together with my signed confirmation, what a huge relief. Also responded to our request for milk, water and creamer. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you. Melina showed genuine concern about my welfare when we had a scooter accident. I landed on my my back and could hardly walk when I returned to the hotel. Melina asked how I was every day, her interest in my wellbeing was totally sincere and she even messaged to ask after me when we returned home. Thank you. Roza went out of her way to provide me with a breakfast that I fancied for my partner to take back to our room. Going to the kitchen to find a honey dew melon, pastries and a dish of Nutella. Thank you. The hotel is spotless with very modern facilities and very soundproof rooms, we did not hear our neighbours, even the doors to the rooms are soft close. Bed is large and very comfortable. Sheets and towels changed on a daily basis and whatever they use to launder them smells nice. It also only has about 26 rooms so quite exclusive. Our room overlooked the harbour so a good view from the balcony, lots of activity on the water and there was even a helicopter that landed outside one day... don't think it was celebrity status though. Location is good as it's away from the main activities on the front but within easy access to all the restaurants and main town. Parking is on site on ground floor level, quite a steep decent/accent and only room for one car at a time so be aware when entering or exiting.

I can't add much to this however, some weeny pointers... my partner would have liked some bacon at breakfast, a couple of hooks on the bathroom door for robes would be good and hooks for towels. The only hooks in the bathroom are at the end of the shower. Also, unless you angle the shower head toward the wall it overspills onto the floor and we had to use a towel to soak up the excess water. Would be good if you could negotiate an exclusive beach price with Africa! No English tv but we did watch a lot of Mr Bean on UTtube! These comments and observations did in no way compromise our stay, just a bit of feedback.

Spacious room

If you pay this much for a hotel, you have high expectations. The room wasn't clean. The views look better on the pictures than in reality. Overall, it was a good stay, but that's it

Super modern hotel located beside the port. Lovely staff and a large comfortable room. Nice breakfast too.

Very comfortable room and great views from the balcony. Staff were very friendly throughout our stay and happy to offer recommendations. The room was very clean and the hotel was very quiet.

Unfortunately it wasn’t possible to use the air conditioning as it had been switched off for the winter, this was a shame as our room was uncomfortably hot and meant we had to keep the balcony door open which resulted in being awoken throughout the night due to noise.

It’s a new property with the most accommodating owner and staff. As with every new hotel, there were very very minor issues that were resolved immediately and attentively. The location and view are fantastic, the room super comfortable (we got upgraded to a Junior suit without any additional cost). Breakfast is wonderful and every little detail has been carefully taken care of.

Absolutely Nothing!

The check-in lady offered us to cancel the reservation and save 3% if we paid with cash. We opted to keep the reservation and use our credit card via Booking.com. We were able to request a room change that was further away from the construction and had a view of the harbor. The one (of three) mornings that they did breakfast a la carte was far superior to the buffet style the other two mornings. You could get down to the water and swim at the beach by walking around and past the "African" Bar. No direct beach access from hotel.

Due to it being "shoulder-season", the restaurant was closed except for breakfast. Further, there was a significant amount of construction on the premises: jack-hammers on three sides of the hotel that operated from 7:30 in the morning until 6:30 in the evening. We understand that things must be done to improve the infrastructure, but, notice ahead of time would have been appreciated. The hotel is abut to the main pier and port where cruise ships and ferries dock. This can be noisy and have a lot of taxi and pedestrian traffic at high seasons.

Our room was modern and roomy with great views. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Despite not having a pool it was a two minute walk to the beach and to many dining options. The supermarket was also very close. We were taking the ferry to Corfu after our stay and the port was an easy 5 minute walk.

This seems very picky but the eggs at breakfast were inedible- the omelettes were dry and the fried eggs were very hard and dry also. There were other options that were very tasty.

No complaints about the restaurant or the quality of breakfast. On the contrary, both the restaurant service and breakfast were at a very high level.

The room itself was as described, with all the amenities. However, the value of this room, compared to the same ones on higher floors, is much lower. The description should indicate that the room is located just above the restaurant and above the parking lot, and on the same level as the reception and storage room. When booking a Superior Suite, the level should be given so as not to be disappointed.

It is an excellent, modern and luxurious hotel, located at a quiet area of the bay, right in the seafront. It is five minutes walk away from the heart of the town. The rooms are spacious with a high quality of furniture and furnishings. Breakfast is very generous, satisfying the majority of the guests' preferences. The restaurant offers excellent meals (congratulations to the cook), it has a nice atmosphere and unrestricted view of the entire town. It is worth mentioning that breakfast is offered at the same location and, therefore, the aforementioned qualities of the restaurant equally apply to. Particular mention should be made to the hospitality we received from the management and the staff. We would like to specifically thank Mario (management), Manuela, Jupiter and Skerby (staff) for their kindness and their daily smiling and happy faces during our stay. Cleanliness and offered services are of the highest standards. It is highly recommended to anyone who would like to visit this town. Definitively, we will return to this hotel on the first occasion.

Nothing to note

The room and view was beautiful. The short walk to the main boulevard was a plus. Restaurant had good food. The staff was beyond great, except for one. Getting to the Hotel was a nightmare due to construction and one way streets everywhere, yet people don't comply because they drive against traffic. So finding the hotel was always a challenge. Parking was limited but the staff was excellent in taking your keys and parking for you. It's considered a beach area so naturally when we returned from the beach, the 3 of us showered. Towels wouldn't dry by the next morning so I asked for 3 more towels for our morning showers. The front desk guy at 11 PM questioned me, like there are towels in your room. So I said they're wet, we used them after the beach. He really hesitated in getting us more and said when we're done with them, bring to the front desk to wash. Look. We paid a sizable amount for our room. Three extra towels should not be questioned. Don't school us on when and why we shower. That's weird and indicates you do not know your industry.
