This is a great value and is very well located in a safe neighborhood in about the geographic center of everything. It’s on a relatively quiet street and the prices are excellent, though they reflect the fact that it is an old funky building, some rooms are dated and there are not the amenities of some others. In addition, some of the staff are patient and eager to accommodate when possible. The deluxe rooms are fantastic - have a balcony and are far more spacious than the others, definitely worth it if you can spend the extra. Great restaurants and the Recoleta Cemetery within walking distance. No surprises at checkout - it was actually less than I thought it would be!

This is a facility that requires you to leave your room key behind and you can only get in or out when someone buzzes the door for you, which actually wasn’t that annoying to be honest - there’s pretty much always someone there. The budget rooms are euro-small, dated and some are pretty shabby, though the AC was strong in all but one, which after a bit of a struggle we were able to move out of. One of the three front desk people was pretty annoying at times, and one was just basically unfriendly, but the third was a prince and was quite patient with my less than perfect Spanish - all spoke English tolerably well. Cleaning crew was always very nice.

Great room overlooking a quiet street. Very high ceilings, unusual curved doors in some hallways. Comfortable! Lots of art! Convenient to Recolleta sites and Puerto Madera. (La Cabana de Lilas restaurant for super Parilla and amazing terrace views), and Casa Rosada. 2 blks from the busy shopping street of Santa Fe. Friendly, helpful staff. Note; some interior rooms W/O windows Walk 3 blks to Jays American if you feel a need for a real American bkfst or lunch. Good Arg cafe, San Miguel, 1/2 blks from Jays.. Major Hint: Send money with debit card to yourself at twice the official rate through Western Union!!!

great location and building has a ton of personality. high ceilings, step out balcony, nice breakfast option.

the economy room was very small but for the price it was amazing. if you have a lot of things and like to unpack and spread out you should book the bigger room category which is still a great value. we had to live out of our suitcases but for a few days it was fine for a longer stay the larger room would be more comfortable.

The staff was very corteous. The hotel is incredible charming, the artistic environment is really something. It is pretty well situated, near a lot of bus lines, restaurants, cafés, beautiful buildings, kioskos and the like... I felt safe in the neighborhood and walked around a lot, like, A LOT.

I was a little afraid of the elevator.

Staff is friendly but only for basic stuff: check in, check out, keys. If you have questions as a tourist, they can't give them to you. Could get a bit loud in the building during the morning although there weren't a lot of people.

My stay at A Hotel has been perfect: the room was big, always well cleaned and supplied with everything necessary and the staff has been very kind and helpful. Moreover it is located in a nice neighborhood which is very well connected with both subway and buses: great to move around the city. I highly recommend it!

you had to switch out the keys when you leave the building so you don't lose it. But since there is staff 24-7 that wasnt really a problem. Just different. Breakfast was paid.

Super helpful and friendly staff, great location as we could walk almost everywhere, comfortable and clean room. no noise from the street.

We had an internal room with limited outside lighting, but it actually grew on us. The power outlet didn’t work

Nice place, in a great location. The staff were excellent- helpful, quick at responding to messages, spoke English. We had a comfy bed, decent shower and free WiFi- exactly what we needed.

The room wasn't massive or super new, but comfortable enough.

Well located, nicely appointed

There were no outlets to charge devices! I had to unplug a lamp from one of the bedside tables to charge mine! And, worse, they would only work if the main room light-switch was on so if I left something charging while away, it would not charge. Same during the evening while sleeping! This is a MAJOR inconvenience!!!
