Country Lodge Motor Inn

Loved the big King comfortable bed. The room was perfect for a couple to move around in. Shower was a great size and great water flow. The staff were wonderful, friendly and happy to help in anyway. Loved the personal touch of a car made from our towels upon arrival. We were there for the Bathurst 12 hour and it was very fitting and enjoyed. Very close proximity to the RSL, The Oxford and The Knickerbocker for meals. Definitely will be back in 2025.

Nothing to dislike, maybe car park was small but we parked upon arrival and didn't move the car til 6 days later to head home.

Close to main centre Breakfast included (although discrepancy in website.... overall facilities showed meal plan available but room details showed no meal plan). Breakfast not shown as option

Parking. Limited and tight. Overflow is through a narrow archway, and if one ends up in the overflow and there's a car parked directly opposite the archway, it's very difficult to get straight on to exit. The sides of the archway have scratches, bricks missing etc where cars have previously hit Microwave would have been useful...I saw boxes indicating they may have been purchased but didn't see one in room...maybe I missed it

My husband and I travelled with my elderly mum (92). We booked a 2 bedroom room - which was perfect as it was 2 rooms with an interconnecting door. There were 2 bathrooms, 1 double bed (not sure if it was double or queen?) in one room and 2 single beds in the other room. 2 fridges, 2 kettles, 2 toasters, 2 hairdryers, 2 TV's - so I could be close to mum at night - and be close to hubby too. The beds were very comfortable, with white clean sheets. There were extra blankets and pillows in the cupboards. The bathrooms were quite modern, with walk in showers in both. We brought our own foldable toilet aid - to help mum and basically this made the unit disability friendly and we could use this to seat mum in the shower too. There is 1 step into the front door. Our room was very quiet, away from the road. A short walk to the lovely Machattie Park & cafes, restaurants etc. A lovely family running this Motor Inn.

Very Minor - We are not fans of liquid soap, so we brought our own. Easy fix.

This place is a nice short stroll to everything. It's not fancy, hence quite affordable. Everything worked, and the beds were very comfortable. The 2-br family apartment suited us perfectly thanks.

The only thing that comes to mind is because of the shape of the rooms, the tea & coffee making facilities were in the bedroom with the 2 single beds, where it would make more sense to have them in the parents' room - a minor annoyance only.

Very comfortable king size bed and everything very clean. In a central location so walking distance to club, hotels and restaurants. Although this is an older style motel we always stay here due to the friendliness of the staff, the location and the cleanliness of the rooms.

A very minor issue, I do like motels to have microwaves and hand towels. But really these are not essential.

The room was clean and equipped with everyting required for the short trip. The bathroom was very clean and the water pressure in the shower was excellent. There was parking available right outside the room and the location of the motel was nice and central.

The lock on the door could do with an upgrade as it only required a physical key to unlock. The room was fitted with an extra lock inside which made it more secure when in the room though.

I received a warm welcome at reception at check-in. Unexpectedly large room with very comfortable bed, good robe space and benching for suitcase and other items. All very clean. Convenient car parking. Close and on road direct to Mt Panorama circuit.

No light over bathroom mirror.

Despite being on a main road it was very quiet. The bed and pillows were perfect for us. Another positive was the shower - good water pressure and easy to regulate. A short walk to Panthers Club for dinner.

Would have liked to be able to adjust the angle of the TV so that you could watch it comfortably from the lounge.

The room was fantastic. We were booked in a family room, however as that was currently being renovated we were upgraded to the 3 bedroom apartment at no cost. It was spacious, clean, well presented. We walked across the road for dinner at The Oxford and was close to everything we needed.
