Silver Haven Motor Inn

The location was perfect, the room was very pleasant, I found the bed very comfortable, I found the staff very friendly and approachable. I didn't get to try out the swimming pool because the weather was a bit too cold to go swimming.

The only thing I didn't like was the noisy neighbor's that were leaving early in the morning and insisted on slamming doors, not once but five times, and not taking other people sleeping into consideration. This is no reflection on the motel itself just inconsiderate people.

Everything was clean and fresh. Plenty of complementary supplies and we only had to ask if we needed more. Beds were very comfortable and the linens felt amazing. Staff were always helpful and friendly .

Could have done with a couple of extra bath mats. Also full length mirror inside the wardrobe door would have helped as we were three woman trying to get ready for a birthday party. And our door lock was a bit hard to open. But none of that is too big a deal.

Location good and easy to find. Hotel contacted us by text , unfortunately due to lack of phone reception, didnt get the text until we got into Broken Hill but the directions on the text were easy to follow and checking in was easy enough. Room much nicer inside than what it looks from the outside!

Too cold to swim in the pool. Reception was already closed when we got there and had thought there was a restaurant there?

We found our room very comfortable and clean. It was only a short walk to the area of town with restaurants. Even though we had a car, we wandered into town for dinner.

It would have been great to just have a couple of bowls and spoons as we brought our own breakfast and there was a microwave so I was expecting some basic cutlery and crockery.

Clean, comfortable and quiet. Not a great beauty from the outside, but very nice inside. The room I was in appeared to have been fairly recently refurbished and included everthing you would expect or need.

Only one very small gripe. The WiFi password provided in the information pack didnt seem to work. I expect it might have been updated. I could probably have fixed the issue with a quick phone call. As I didn't desparately need to use it, I was not too fussed.

the property is a little tired, could use some paint! but is very comfortable. restaurant serves very good meals, sadly no longer serves breakfast, but continental is available if you wish

no breakfast, but a lot of guests leave quite early so I guess that is a problem for them. The motel was a great location for our purposes, but isn’t close to city centre

Excellent room. The air con warmed room up very quickly. The extra large bed spectacular. Extra blanket appreciated.(we like it for weight) Unit we had was a lovely large size. Welcoming atmosphere and evening meals available on site. Meals starting from $22- we had other commitments didn't eat but restaurant was busy when we stayed.

Occasionally some road noise but didn't stop us from sleeping.

Centrally located. Comfortable room and clean facilities. Able to have a nice hot shower during a cold and rainy day. Friendly staff.

Not much to fault on, but could have more info about Broken Hill and Silver Haven Motor Inn (eg wifi details, policies and procedures, early check out details, recommendations, etc) available in the room.

Lovely service, the hotel is nothing flash but the bed was very comfortable and having a restaurant onsite that served absolutely delicious food (I have NEVER seen a scotch fillet so big, and it was very tasty too!)

a little bit traffic noisy and what sound like a motor/generator but 2 very inconsiderate ladies outside the room at 6:30am having a very loud conversation. (not the hotels fault)

Compact unit with everything I needed, comphy bed, toaster & microwave for breakfast and great location close to city centre.

As I had a front unit close to the main road, traffic noise was noticeable. However, once it got past 9pm, noise did subside, and I slept well.
