The property is located close to the Freeway and the main township. It is an ideal stopover hotel with excellent amenities and well-appointed rooms. The hotel restaurant is excellent. The staff are attentive, friendly and helpful. Our buffet breakfasts were fantastic and the dinner we had one evening was very good. Our room was spacious, clean and provided all the technology and comforts one would require.

The property would benefit from an in-house gym and swimming pool as there is very little that the surrounding area provides in the way of recreation. In order to access local shops and cafes you need to drive at least ten minutes and once there, there is very little to tempt a tourist. Rooms would also benefit from a lounge area, a greater range of tea and coffee facilities, and more options in the mini bar and room service.

The beds were comfortable, the room was clean and spacious. Also a very quiet convenient location. We will be definitely back.

As I entered the receptionist behind the counter was very curt to begin with, advising me that my booking through booking.com. was not there. After several attempts and with an unfriendly tone she continue to insist it was not there. I responded with a firm insistence that it should have been and finally she found it. After that brief moment on anxiety everything was fine. She must have been having a bad day. All the other staff we encountered were friendly.

Spacious, clean and comfy

We don't like being allocated to rooms "out the back". We prefer rooms near to reception or at least in the main body of the property, admittedly they are the same & it's less busy "out the back". Reception staff suggested we request this in future. A heater in the bathroom is necessary in winter and the floor tiles in the bathroom are slippery - wrong tiles used here (same in all rooms??). We also noticed some "bodgy" repairs to wall tiles in the bathroom, not a good look particularly since the property was originally built so well aside from the floor tiles I mentioned

We were a group of 4 and stayed in a family suite, room 113. We arrived on Sunday afternoon so we didn't eat at the hotel. The hotel is clean and spacious, with fully equipped kitchen facilities, air conditioning in each bedroom, mattresses of moderate firmness, and pillows of the right height. It is not far from the town center, with supermarkets and McDonalds a few dozen meters away, making it very convenient for food, accommodation and transportation. We come here every January to participate in the annual Taralga Rodeo event, and staying here is the best choice.

Nothing bad, just suggest that the hotel should build a hotel sign on the highway. When we came from Sydney, the GPS showed that we had arrived at the destination, but because the environment next to the highway was messy, we turned around twice before finding the entrance. The microwave on the refrigerator is a bit high, if you are not careful, it is easy to tip over when taking out food, causing spills and burns.

Beds were comfortable. The reverse cycle aircon worked well to take the chill off. Shower was huge but did not drain properly. Kitchen was very useful. It was very quiet at night. We were happy with the parking options. Staff were friendly. Family room was good, but needed to walk through the single bedroom to access the bathroom. Plenty of power-points near the beds.

Unable to access motel resturant information online as I was blocked. You need to have a paper version of the room service menu in the room. Liquid soap dispenser not ideally situated over the tissue box. Room had a little wear and tear eg chipped bathroom tiles and wear to doorjams.

Spacious room. And spacious outdoors with wide covered verandahs. Spacious accessible bathroom. There was a strange chemical.smell in the air outdoors. None of the staff could smell it. An excellent bakery and Cafe across the road.

Not a dislike, but an observation. - For an accessible bathroom, there were not enough handrails to support a person with poor mobility (and dementia becoming increasingly common) to safely exit the shower over wet very slippery tiles. Maybe something non-slip could also be applied to the tiles. Also there was nowhere to place toiletries and other products needed in the bathroom. Eg shelves or hooks. Beds were a bit soft.

The Motel is located in an excellent location for a stop over on our way to the snow fields. Trappers Bakery was across the road to visit for coffee and breakfast in the morning. The room we had was well equipped and quite spacious. The bathroom was very modern and the room was very clean with good heating. Parking was easy and right out front of our room.

I found the bed to be too soft for my liking, but I guess that can be a personal preference and others may like that. Although the bathroom is very modern and clean, the glass shower screen has very large gaps in it, causing the bathroom floor to be saturated after every shower we took. We had to use our towels to soak up all the excess water. Minor complaints, so all in all it was a pleasant stay.

We needed to stay somewhere close to one of the major fast food chains and this hotel fit the bill perfectly. The size of the apartment was great for four (adult) guests and its location close to the highway made it easy to get going again the following day. There were plenty of places around the hotel to find something to eat and plenty of things to do and see in town. We had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and will definitely be back.

I didn't like that there wasn't dedicated parking for the rooms. We had a disabled passenger and we couldn't park directly outside the unit because someone else had parked directly outside the door which made it challenging for our passenger to get access to our rooms.

The location is great with so many facilities around for quick and easy access to fuel and food. The room was very clean and luxurious and access to Foxtel movies was definitely a huge plus! Even though it was busy, it was quiet in the room all night and the heater was lovely on the cold night. I also quite enjoyed the shower too! Overall a great experience and will definitely stay there again!

The bed was a little soft for my liking but a part from that I wouldn't change anything.
