This motor inn is close to the cemetery so is important for me when visiting my dad and his parents. It has large rooms although don't book a queen if you want a lower ground room. The rooms are clean, comfortable, have kitchenettes and are not that far from centre of town so are quiet. They are by far the best we have stayed in at Goulburn over the years. The owners/managers are lovely, helpful and we ate at the restaurant which was great pub food.

I didn't ask for a ground floor room so at our age we didn't like to take everything upstairs- our fault though.

Rooms have been refreshed and well maintained. Bedding was comfy, and ample parking on site. Building is not new however with current owners it has had a good refresh done to the attire to bring it up to current standards. The bathroom was probably the oldest thing in the room, however still very clean and tidy. Shower pressure was excellent and water always hot. The owners were accommodating as we travelled with a child with mobility issues, and a ground floor was provided as requested.

This is by no means a reflection on our stay at this business, just something for consideration - knowing older buildings were built to a different standard, just something to keep in mind when taking on new ownership, even trying to add as best you can accessible options like a ramp up a small step really does make a big difference, and opens your business up to additional customers who may be checking vigilantly for key phrases to do with access.

I was very surprised by the thoughtfulness of the recption staff and the very good house keeping service My room was very clean and well appointed. The heating was good and the bedding was comfortable. I have nothing but praise for the Heritage motor lodge.

I think given the cost of TV'S isn't so expensive now . A larger screen size would be nice . Plus a booklet information of restaurant food ,bar and facilities in the room would be nice .

We arrived late, but they made check-in so easy for us! Great location, private, easy to get to. We had a studio apartment with 5 people, but there was still privacy as the room was divided by the bathroom. I thought this was a great idea. Plenty of on-site parking provided. Fast communication. Bed and pillows were so comfy. Linen was clean. Liked that the doona was wrapped in bed sheets as doonas are not often cleaned. Tea, coffee, biscuits and milk provided.

Cutlery had to be washed by guests after use, which made me uncomfortable and not want to use them as I'd have to trust the last guests washed them after use.

Very clean and spacious room. The bed was large and comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was great. Highly recommend for a short or overnight stay. Seamless check in/check out.

The location is right on a main road so there was a bit of traffic noise at night. The decor is outdated but very clean. We didn’t get to experience the restaurant as it was closed when we were there.

The bed was very comfortable, and the restaurant with its friendly service plus food was excellent , it was a real convenience. The heating was excellent as it was a very cold night..Thank you for our lovely stay. M.H .

It could have been a bit cleaner, and probably needs a bit of an update,it wasn't bad just a little tired looking, but overall bed and linen was lovely , the friendly staff made up for it all..

The property was wonderful. Smelled nice and cleaned. Linen perfect. Beds super comfy and the best shower after a long day drive. The family who run it served wonderful food and were extremely courteous and professional. We will stay here every trip on our family holidays. Cannot say enough how good it was.

Nothing bad to report.

The large room was clean with a king bed that we had requested. The kitchen facilities were adequate, and it was easy to make a standard breakfast. The location is quiet because it is near to the centre of town. There was a lot of parking on site. We dined at the restaurant where the servings were tasty and generous and the environment clean and quiet.

It would be nice to install a wall heater in the bathroom because the extractor fan (which comes on with the light) creates cold air and the temperature that morning was 1C.

For travelling through this accommodation was perfect for us. So convenient being able to park right outside your room making it quick and easy to get out what is needed for the night rather than dragging baggage from a carpark into a hotel into an elevator and into a room. We found the bed super comfy and the shower was hot and bathroom roomy, neat, clean and tidy. We also ate at the restaurant and I was super surprised and delighted at how fabulous the food was. I noticed some guests had the meals as take away to eat in their rooms too which is great to know if not up to sitting at a restaurant after travelling all day. We will definitely stay there again. The team were friendly and very helpful and made the stay a breeze.

This accomodation is fantastic, despite being old. The cleanliness of the bed, towels and kitchen stuff was great - clean and crisp. However, for the money spent - I stand by my rating of 9/10. In my opinion, the restaurant meals where absolutely delicios, generous size, good value and the service was great. The service at checking was also very pleasing. I would come back and I will highly recommend this accomodation.

The chairs and the couch are old and don't look clean - can be updated for a small cost. The restaurant too can be updated and brightened up to attract more business.
