The room was a surprise as it was really lovely, didn't expect there 2 be two bedrooms with a huge TV in each room, the king bed was like "sleeping on a cloud" comfortable, same as the single beds in the kids room, the kitchen and bathroom were very clean, roomy and modern, the shower was amazing....and the staff were very friendly and welcoming...and the price was very reasonable. Highly recommend as you will have a pleasant stay.

Nothing, everything is as it should be, even the road works at the front were not really a bother ...

Nicest smelling motel room I've ever entered, aircon was on so it was pleasant to walk in, very comfortable bed and pillows and the shower is amazing - spacious and excellent water pressure. It had everything I needed including a kitchenette. The overall ambience was modern, clean and comfortable. Very central location makes for a short walk to the main street.

Better lighting outside the unit would improve safety in the dark. When I left for the airport at 5.30 am it was pitch black. To get to the car, I first stepped into the drainage line and twisted my ankle, then kicked the concrete block in the car park, nearly breaking my toe and falling, and wrecking my shoe. Flopped through the airport with a loose sole, feeling like a troll rather than a graceful beauty. Motion sensor lights would greatly improve that area.

The most comfortable bed that we slept in for our whole road trip! Like sleeping on a cloud. Our room was modern and clean, with a kitchenette and a huge shower. We were able to park right outside our room, the motel is gated, and we felt secure to leave items in our car overnight. The location was near the main street, so easy to walk to dinner and explore the town. The Griff had a friendly staff member who checked us in and asked us how we enjoyed our stay when we saw her again later in the afternoon. It was a nice touch!

There was nothing we did not like about this stay.

we were upgraded on arrival and the staff were wonderful.property was very clean and facilities generous.Very happy stay.Security was first class which very different to our stay in Bourke where our car was stolen. So security will always be important to us in future and the Griff more than meets that requirement for travellers

The room was very clean, the bed very comfortable with an assortment of different pillows to cater for your comfort. The TV was a good size unlike many with very small TV's.

Although didn't go there to sit and watch television it did say it had foxtel however there was no foxtel only the holes in the wall where the box was. If you like your drinks to be cold the fridge I think was only a wine fridge therefore nothing was very cold which is my preference, probably ok if you don't mind your drinks not being so cold.

Our room was very spacious. Very clean. Kitchenette was well appointed and spacious too. Had 2 separate rooms. Parking on site too. Had no complaints and was very quiet. Well located. Walked into the main street for dinner from The Griff with easy access and felt safe. Will stay again if coming this way!

Airconditioner in the main room kept making noises ( sounded like spurting releases of moisture ) and kept me awake. Had to switch it off to get some peace! Shame as everything else was great!

I actually ended up staying in the Griffs sister property called the Gem which is on the main street. The hotel moved me to The Gem to consolidate their operations during Covid. The room was an upgrade and very well furnished and very comfortable the 1st room provided faced the main road and even with double glazing was a bit noisy. The staff at the Gem were more than happy to move me to another room at the back of the hotel which was very quiet. Being on the main street it was central to everything with lots of cafes nearby and a supermarket down the street. The staff were excellent, very friendly and accommodating.

No freezer compartment in the rooms fridge, but the staff were happy to put my esky ice blocks in their own fridge to keep them frozen overnight. Although you can stream apps to the TV you can't plug in a USB or HDMI if you want to watch videos from your own non-streaming device as the TV surrounds make this impossible.

Staff were very helpful. Room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Very close to the theatre, restaurants and shops.

It had new pillows that were so large that it was uncomfortable to sleep. While many would like them, there should be an option to have flatter pillows if required. Sound proofing could be better. We were woken up by the TV which we could hear clearly in the room next to us early in the morning.

Easy parking and close proximity to room. Room layout with sink outside bathroom is great. Cleanliness is exceptional.

Ongoing roadworks at entrance are messy especially with current rain. With no pedestrian access except the same muddy road, it’s far from ideal. There’s needs to be a footpath! Not the motels fault.

Everything was new and fresh and spotlesslessly clean. We had all we needed including bowls, cutlery and tea towel. We appreciated the secure parking as we had 2 expensive bicycles on the back of our car. TV was large and we could stream from our phones which was definitely a bonus.
