Breakfast was continental but a huge amount of food was available including GF. I loved the bright, clean dining area with a kiddies playground in the corner and a TV for viewing. The staff was very helpful making calls re parking at the War Memorial Hall and advising us where we could find unmetered parking. The owner took us to catch a bus at 8.am & picked us up at 5.30 pm to save us a taxi fare. They are busy refurbishing all the rooms to 5-star quality and said when booking in future, to ask for a refurbished room.

Once the refurbishing is finished, there won't be anything not to like. It is to be expected in an older motel, things do wear out and need updating.

I use to stay there every time I went to Tamworth then the place started going downhill, air conditioner was broken and no hot water so I went elsewhere but recently I went back and found the place was being renovated and it was a lot cleaner and the staff very friendly.

I was in room 10 and could have had a small table and chairs in there cause there was plenty of room for it. Needed something in there to put our bags on as we had them on the floor. I didn’t know the motel was pet friendly, I didn’t like that every time we went outside the dogs would bark but it wasn’t that big of a problem just maybe put them guest further away from the other rooms.

Good location, clean, tidy, staff were great, good parking, all at a reasonable price. Continental breakfast provided, which is a bonus. All up quite comfortable. Located just out of the town centre which was nice. Situated on the main highway but noise from traffic was not an issue.

Bar fridge was a little noisy, bathroom a bit 'dated' (but clean and sufficient for my needs). Not very many power outlets, making charging and running devices a wee bit tedious (fridge, tv, microwave and kettle shared ond double powerpoint). Also, the sliding door to the bathroom was a bit sticky/difficult to close (initially)...

The breakfast is a nice gesture and a great 'value add'. Some fresh fruit would be nice. The room we had (#22) was spacious and quiet, with all the facilities we needed. Staff very courteous and helpful. Responded to a couple of queries very quickly. New kids play area a nice touch. We appreciated being able to charge our car from the room.

Chairs in the room and in the breakfast area are very heavy and clumsy. I understand you are planning some renovations - the first thing I would do is change the sign out the front. Soo old and faded, dates the place very quickly.

Convenient location for either visiting Tamworth or passing through. Super pet friendly. Great value for money. Coffee/breakfast was provided in a common area - I didn't use it as was in a rush, but looked decent. Complimentary water/milk for the rooms was also a nice touch. Would definitely stay again.

Shower needs re-sealing as leaked quite badly after use - was easy to mop up so not a big deal. I think they are mid-renovation so this might not be an issue for much longer. For the price, no other issues - great value.

I like the convenience of parking. They have comfortable bed, and the pillows aren’t as sky high as other hotels which is good. Good cooling aircond. Also, we’re provided with full set of cutleries and microwave. Something really useful when travelling and handy when ordering food online and trying to eat it.

The signboard at front. It is really hard to see the big sign board at night when coming because they didn’t light up. People could miss the entrance.

Nothing not to like ! needed anything staff & owner were right onto it to make our stay great which they did

Not enough storage space for clothes or cabinet for self brought food snacks for longer stay or comfy chair and fridge on small size bigger bar fridge would be handy all in all room still done the job will stay again & in same room

The staff were very friendly, room was clean & easily accessible.

The bathroom is very small. Like having to open the door in order to have room to lift your leg in order to put your pants on, very small. I’m a midsize woman but if you were a bigger girl you will struggle with these facilities. The shower pressure is great however the shower curtain does absolutely nothing and water got everywhere. Shower mat was soaking wet by the time I got out.

Gail was friendly and cheerful and couldnt help us enough despite the heatwave. She made breakfast available from 630am so that all the children competing in the athletics carnival in the heat could have breakfast even the ones with an early start. There were dinner plates, cereal bowls and cutlery available as well. We always enjoy the pool and there is no curfew. Clean and comfortable.

I arrived on sundown and was given, and even had a bi the room I booked through Booking .com. I went to the room and found it wasn't suitable re the surrounding tenants. I talked to Ashleigh and she organised to move me to a different room which was a free upgrade. The new room was in a quiet part of the hotel and was beautifully decorated and even had a corner spa bath. She was attentive and understanding and helped me with everything I needed.
