Room was bright with great natural light in the morning. It was tastefully (modern) decorated and felt very airy with incredibly comfortable beds, giant pillows and luxurious bedding. The kitchenette was well stocked with everything a family needs on a short holiday - plates, cups, cutlery, tea towels, detergent, microwave, mini-fridge. The pool/BBQ area looked inviting but sadly we didn't use it as our stay was too short (only 1 night). Wi-fi was also good for the child late at night haha! Great place to stay for a no fuss getaway with the kids, when you just want somewhere nice and comfortable to crash after going out exploring during the day. It's a convenient short drive from scenic beaches and Forster cafe/dining district across the bridge and is easy to get to/find.

It is on a main road, so passing traffic may affect you if you're not used to that, but we didn't find it bad at all. It wouldn't stop me from coming back.

The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. We had the heater on for a bit before we turned in for the day, and then again in the morning when we got out of bed, just to take the chill off. We enjoyed a steak dinner on the bbq next to the pool. Allan from the motel provided the utensils for the bbq. The fridge came in handy for stuff that needed refrigeration including the ice packs for our esky. The on site car park in front of our room was well appreciated because the motel is just off the main thoroughfare in Tuncurry.

There is really not much not to like except that the motel is right on the main thoroughfare through town. Fortunately the noise of the occasional car driving by in the early morning did not disturb our sleep at all.

The cost was the main thing cheap $89 for a night and the facilities were good for a solo traveler. I walked down to the seven-mile beach and it was simply great. I ran back and forward along the beach for about 50 minutes. This beach was very wide as well and was empty only a few SUVs a couple of kilometers up the beach and one fisherman was there. I had no problem walking finding something to eat and drink close by.

Perfect for single traveller for one or few nights. Plant boxes outside my door made nice place to spread outside the compact room. Cosy as expected, smart and well equipped. Parking right outside room cut down road noise to non-disturbing level. Few minutes walk to stores, beach & 'rockpool'. Few minutes drive into central Forster.

No windows on either face open, but it was warm enough to have door open with secure grill door.

The room had everything we needed for the night we were there - wine glasses, a couple of plates, some cutlery and a microwave. The bed was insanely comfortable, and we couldn't fault how clean the whole room was! Didn't get a chance to use the pool as we prefer the ocean, but it looked great!

A microwave oven would've been awesome if we were being picky - same space in the wall but a little more useful for dinner. The motel is a little bit of a walk to the nearest good beach too - obviously can't be helped but meant we wished we'd worn better footwear than flipflops for the walk!

This is a 1960's motel which has recently, impeccably, renovated with some redesign in limited space. The room provides a kitchen bench space with stools and an unobtrusive wardrobe/microwave shelf allowing adequate wriggle-room around the very comfortable bed. In other words everything required is clean, comfortable and close to hand. We had a one-night booking on the way to Sydney and this budget motel exceeded our expectations. It's on the main road in from the north but well insulated from road noise. We would very happily stay for one or two nights again.

It's a 1960's motel, so room size may be an issue for you if you need space to stretch or spread bags!! The budget rate belies the high quality, though.

Nice clean room with everything we needed. Bed was comfortable.

Table and chairs were a little cramped and would be difficult to open entrance door if 3 people were sitting at the table. Shower pressure was ok. Would be nice to have a window that opened. Blinds don't completely block out lights at night. No allocated parking so can be difficult to park in front of room.

Although the room was small it had everything I needed as a single person but would be crowded for a double.. I was impressed by the number of power outlets available. The bathroom was big enough to dry in and the towels really dried.

I would have liked a dishcloth and tea towel to wash & dry the crockery. There was no clock bu I suspect if I had switched on the TV I could have had a time displayed

I liked how cozy the room was. It was an older motel but the room was spotless and had been renovated nicely and had everything you could need. The bed was comfortable.

I had a room right at the front of the property and there was a little bit of noise from the passing traffic. In saying that I live on a farm so am used to very quiet sleeping conditions.

Excellent service, spacious room, comfortable bed, free wi-fi and streaming services a bonus. Rooms are very clean as is linen and overall living space. Highly recommend to stay instead of something overpriced in the nearby town. A very short stroll to local Tuncurry retailers or over the bridge for bustling Forster.
