Close to a few shops and a couple of minutes drive away from Town Centre.

Curtains didnt cover the window properly and I had to put a couple of the room towels up to keep out the lights from the car park, also as travelling alone I didnt want anyone able to see in.

I prefer to pick the pub motels in the smaller towns, so as to grab a cold beer, then a filling dinner and walk back to my room after a long day of driving and hiking. Always centrally located with charm, plenty of locals and on the weekends there is always some form of game night, sports on the TV and usually a dinner special. Can't beat the atmosphere once you leave the beach and metropolitan areas. The room was tidy, clean and had everything you could want - toaster, kettle, microwave, fridge and important air con. Even the covered parking came in handy with hail warnings in the afternoon.

The bed was a bit harder than I personally would have liked, but not so much that I did not have a good night's sleep after hiking all day.

Greeted by some really lovely, friendly young staffers, who were eager to settle me in after a big drive. Great rooms, fabulous refurb'ed facilities inside. Really appreciated the bench style desk and barstool, allowing me to work after arriving and also heat and eat dinner. The kitchen type facilities were really appreciated, especially having a sink, the microwave and decent sized fridge allowing me to store my cold foods overnight.

Nothing really I didn't like...the only small issue, was the allocated room "carport" style parking, which was a little small to easily park and unload my Hilux, with another ute parked right beside me...but the hotel parking was very open and IO just parked outside overnight.

For the price it was good. Beds were hard, pillow was hard, room was very small. Nothing was bad just a little dated and small. Domino’s was 200 mtr, bistro was open though I felt a little pricey for a pub meal. Had under cover parking which was a bonus.

Size of room and noise. However it was cozy and only for the night.

Location handy to everything. Staff friendly and helpful. Laundry on premises (FREE), what a bonus.

There was mould in the air con unit witch made us a bit unwell but other then that all good

The door at the bottom of the stairs kept slamming when people either come in or out. Maybe you could put a door silencer or slow release door hinge or something. Everything else was wonderful.

Staff are super friendly, very clean , fantastic bar and bistro service .

Only thing that let it down is no segregated male / female bathroom facilities. Walking out from a shower while a blokes coming out of the dunny is a bit awkward . Otherwise fantastic staff , very clean rooms , extensive bistro menu to suit all tastes ...family and kid friendly. I will be staying again as frequently travel through .and glad to have found a safe and comfortable place .
