Had a great time with my 3 year old who loved the animals and spa bath. Comfy bed and very cosy inside. Lots of space to go for a walk and see the old style farming equipment. Great photo ops

A microwave would've been handy. Pod coffee machine was great but had no way to add hot milk to coffee shot. An exhaust fan for the bathroom would help as there was condensation even with the window open to let out hot air. We would still return though as we had a great time :)

Wonderful British waiter Spencer at the restaurant. Attentive, friendly and great service.

Saturday afternoon, senior staff member denied they stocked Oyster Bay wine (even though we had one the night before with dinner). She went to bottle shop & bought back 2 varieties of Marlborough NZ wine then spoke in a condensing manner to other staff members about how to run through till (could have waited till no one was in bar). We watched Sarah Grant singing in the entertainment area then went inside to have dinner. One of my friends went to bar to buy wine to have with dinner & returns with a bottle of Oyster Bay. Just want to say the previous $40 bottle was disgusting, yellow and a total rip off. Thank you for ruining what could have been a pleasant afternoon

Seamless, friendly, professional, organised, excellent communication… these are but a few words used to describe Bearded Dragon! We first stumbled upon this gem in 2020 when my now wife surprised me by taking me away for a beautiful staycation in Tamborine. We arrived at Bearded Dragon and instantly felt comfortable. We had dinner there that night and OH MY WORD! The food is absolutely phenomenal!!! The Steak and Guinness pie with mash was better than I’d had back home (NW England). The portions are epic for the price too! All staff are super friendly, mostly young staff with heaps of energy and always happy to engage in conversation. The accommodation itself is beautiful. Nice open, clean, spacious rooms. Lots of different room configurations to suit solo travellers, couples, families etc. They always have a beautiful little touch that makes it feel that extra bit special. Ok now onto the main highlight of The Bearded Dragon for us… WE GOT MARRIED HERE ON 02/03/23. This was our place, from the first moment we walked in, we just knew. We had to postpone our wedding due to Covid. When we were able to go ahead, we looked around at heaps of places but ALWAYS came back to the Dragon! And my gosh are we glad we did! The day went without a single glitch. Not one!!! The events coordinators absolutely nailed it! 💕. Nae’s communication is second to none, made everything happen exactly how we wanted it to. From the very beginning, Nae had it under control. Candice, what a legend! Super helpful with all requests, Candice and Nae make an amazing team! Candice even fixed our wedding cake after a little mishap on the way down from Brisbane. 💕 The venue was perfect. Huge shout out to the staff who worked around the clock to make our beautiful day, absolutely perfect! Biggest thank you to Ash, Candice and Nae. Already miss you guys. You made 2 ladies very, very, very happy! I recommend this amazing place with amazing people more than I can put into words!

The room was clean, tidy with a super comfy bed

The food at the hotel was terrible. We brought all our food and alcohol there and was very disappointed. First night's dinner the roast beef which was uneaten as it was like a baked piece of chuck, but the pumpkin feta salad was good. Breakfast was good. Lunch was a Moo Burger with a terrible beef patty and the barri, chips and salad was terrible. Paid $34 for a frozen bit of fish on top of chips as I couldn't have the salad as they don't cater for allergies (no tomato and onion) as they premake their salads. Had burger rings for dinner as wasn't game to pay alot of money for horrible food again

The room was comfortable and I liked that it was away from the Hotel. Very little noise. Dinner was amazing. I had the ribs, couldn't eat them all, so so tasty. Also, the staff were very friendly.

A little out of the way for what I was looking to do. However, travelling the countryside was a treat.

The location was amazing, so Australian outback, staff were over the top excellent, the food. Was a big woow and the rooms were very modern and very clean. Wonderful stay and awesome things to see and do around the area and farm.

Meals are most delicious and all of the Staff are very friendly. Has a most lovely, warm, friendly, ambience.

Lighting in the room was a bit dull. However, most comfortable. and lovely very large spa bath, great for tall people and the shower pressure was fantastic.

The meals were absolutely beautiful. Good size portions and value for money. We also tried the tasting beer platter which was also amazing. There was live music playing which added to the ambience. The room was good size and the 4 post bed added a touch of class. The bed was also super comfortable.

More live music would have been great.

I liked the little chocolate bars and the pod coffee machine. You don't get those little luxuries in many motels any more! I also like the choice of pillows

Only one tiny criticism. We were in Room 1 and the bathroom door wouldn't shut properly.

great time with our grandson loved the animals and the playground food was good but overall served purpose for location we needed to be close to albert river winery

room was a little tired looking. gardens needed a little cleaning up around the accommodation area lots of cigarette butts and people were a little rowdy in room near us were drinking and smoking outside there room
