Most amazing coffee I have had in the morning with a lovely fresh hearty breakfast. Nicely styled and comfortable rooms. The pub and all furnishings/decor were lovely and really added to the overall atmosphere

Some aspects a little older and need of updates, reception not being available - having to go into the pub, was a septic smell in the evening near the rooms. Shower hand held piece that was difficult to use over bath, unsure of how this would be best rectified as spa bath was great to have

Had a great time with my 3 year old who loved the animals and spa bath. Comfy bed and very cosy inside. Lots of space to go for a walk and see the old style farming equipment. Great photo ops

A microwave would've been handy. Pod coffee machine was great but had no way to add hot milk to coffee shot. An exhaust fan for the bathroom would help as there was condensation even with the window open to let out hot air. We would still return though as we had a great time :)

Lovely cottage style Room, pub has a great old english feel to it with fireplace in the dining room. Very convenient place to stay for couples on a romantic getaway. Younger staff absolutely fantastic and manager brilliant.

Food overpriced for what is being served. $39 for main meals, First night's meals, amazing! Next night's terrible. Consistency questionable considering we inquired if it was the same chef cooking both nights

Saturday afternoon, senior staff member denied they stocked Oyster Bay wine (even though we had one the night before with dinner). She went to bottle shop & bought back 2 varieties of Marlborough NZ wine then spoke in a condensing manner to other staff members about how to run through till (could have waited till no one was in bar). We watched Sarah Grant singing in the entertainment area then went inside to have dinner. One of my friends went to bar to buy wine to have with dinner & returns with a bottle of Oyster Bay. Just want to say the previous $40 bottle was disgusting, yellow and a total rip off. Thank you for ruining what could have been a pleasant afternoon

Had our two year old who enjoyed visiting the animals a couple of times. The grounds are very relaxing and enjoyable, especially if you've come from the city. Food was also good. The small spa bath in the room was relaxing and enjoyable too.

Nothing comes to mind really. Everything was good. I guess hotels have become crazy expensive lately and this was a more than double what it cost to stay there previously. That's inflation.

It was nice to feel away from everything. The rooms were nice and clean. Nice atmosphere.

Might need another family room, a better play area for the kids, a microwave or toaster would’ve also been great. These points are just for feedback and not as a complaint. Overall, we were happy with our stay and would definitely be happy to come back again.

Seamless, friendly, professional, organised, excellent communication… these are but a few words used to describe Bearded Dragon! We first stumbled upon this gem in 2020 when my now wife surprised me by taking me away for a beautiful staycation in Tamborine. We arrived at Bearded Dragon and instantly felt comfortable. We had dinner there that night and OH MY WORD! The food is absolutely phenomenal!!! The Steak and Guinness pie with mash was better than I’d had back home (NW England). The portions are epic for the price too! All staff are super friendly, mostly young staff with heaps of energy and always happy to engage in conversation. The accommodation itself is beautiful. Nice open, clean, spacious rooms. Lots of different room configurations to suit solo travellers, couples, families etc. They always have a beautiful little touch that makes it feel that extra bit special. Ok now onto the main highlight of The Bearded Dragon for us… WE GOT MARRIED HERE ON 02/03/23. This was our place, from the first moment we walked in, we just knew. We had to postpone our wedding due to Covid. When we were able to go ahead, we looked around at heaps of places but ALWAYS came back to the Dragon! And my gosh are we glad we did! The day went without a single glitch. Not one!!! The events coordinators absolutely nailed it! 💕. Nae’s communication is second to none, made everything happen exactly how we wanted it to. From the very beginning, Nae had it under control. Candice, what a legend! Super helpful with all requests, Candice and Nae make an amazing team! Candice even fixed our wedding cake after a little mishap on the way down from Brisbane. 💕 The venue was perfect. Huge shout out to the staff who worked around the clock to make our beautiful day, absolutely perfect! Biggest thank you to Ash, Candice and Nae. Already miss you guys. You made 2 ladies very, very, very happy! I recommend this amazing place with amazing people more than I can put into words!

Fantastic place to take the family, the goats and alpacas were the highlight for my daughter. Bed was comfortable, the room was clean and very well presented. Dinner was fairly priced and delicious so can't complain

Only a few very minor inconveniences, neither the kettle nor the coffee machine in my room worked, and there was no plug for the bath

There were no lights out near where you park car at night as very hard to see. Bed pretty uncomfortable,like a bowl Or like something was under mattress at top due to the hole in the middle. Trouble using app for room service

The room was clean, tidy with a super comfy bed

The food at the hotel was terrible. We brought all our food and alcohol there and was very disappointed. First night's dinner the roast beef which was uneaten as it was like a baked piece of chuck, but the pumpkin feta salad was good. Breakfast was good. Lunch was a Moo Burger with a terrible beef patty and the barri, chips and salad was terrible. Paid $34 for a frozen bit of fish on top of chips as I couldn't have the salad as they don't cater for allergies (no tomato and onion) as they premake their salads. Had burger rings for dinner as wasn't game to pay alot of money for horrible food again
