Happy as it is. A bit expensive in holiday time

So many things to like over our 2-night stay. Plates and cutlery, fridge & microwave, spacious room with nice seating and good table, Comfy beds, nice bathroom, lovely shiny concrete floors. Easy walk along the river, and to a lovely pub for a reasonably priced, delicious dinner. Didn't try the pool, but it looked nice. Easy drive to the free amazing zoo and great botanical gardens. Super nice manager- thanks for everything, and for all the tips, Bryan!

Not the prettiest walk to the river along Fitzroy Street , although it's only a few blocks, and the riverwalk itself is very nice.. Meal prep and wash-up is challenging with only the bathroom sink (nothing to be done, there).

Staff were friendly and helpful. Place was clean and tidy.

Nice light interior that made the room feel fresh and clean (which it also was). The room also airy and had good bright light and really comphy chairs. There was a pool there looking super clean, but we did not have time to use it during our stay as we were out and about. The owner was the kindest we have met so far during our different stays. Super accommodating and available! He even let us borrow some towels for our Whitsunday boat tour in Airlie Beach. Great location, close to the center and close to restaurants and shops. We would definitely stay here again if we visit Rockhampton again!

Value for money was exceptional. Staff were very accomodating and friendly. Rooms were very clean and spacious. I have never stayed in better as far as value for money goes....I also liked the fact that the accomodation and car parking is all secured.

The only item that let the stay down was the bed. Mine had collapsed springs on one side and was very uncomfortable. They are however in the middle of renovating the property so I can only hope the beds have been replaced by the time I stay there again.

Convenient location ,car was able to be parked outside of my room. Comfortable bed great shower clean & tidy could hardly hear any road noise and a good price.would definitely stay again.

Needs a pelmet over the blackout curtains. AS a light sleeper the light coming into the room from the outside flourescent lights that stayed on all night kept me awake, airconditioning was great but it has a green luminous light that let you know what the temperature was that contributed to keeping us awake .But we still managed to get a good sleep.

really conveniently located in CBD , great access to lots of places to eat or grab a drink . Was especially pleased with the locked gate security for parking !! the room is older but well maintained , very clean and comfortable and great value for money on the road ! easy access booking in and the hosts were very welcoming , a fantastic shower , which is always a welcome relief after a long days drive def a great place to stop over on a road trip !!

Good value and great location.

Room service wasn't attended for towels, tea/coffee condiments or the dinnerware. Suggest if this isn't available over weekends due to staffing levels then perhaps a small container of dish soap and a dish cloth can be left to allow self-cleaning in the basin. or make packs up of tea and coffee to be available at office for ease. Then perhaps additional towels added to rooms for those over the weekend.

Room facilities met my needs. Loved the dispensers in bathroom and shower. Everything was easily at hand.

Bed seemed very short. I am not particularly tall so anyone 6 feet or more would have had feet hanging over the end of the bed. When lying on stomach, my toes were over the end. Not comfortable at all for normal sleeping position. Neighbours also sat on chairs outside my room and talked while drinking. Crying baby in next room. Roller blind did not block out light from outside which was on all night.

I needed to check in way earlier than check in time and the staff went above and beyond for me, initial contact from Sunil was made as soon as I paid for the booking and also let me know when the room was ready on the day. Facilities are nice which was the cherry on top!
