Good value for money for budget travelers who don't want to stay in a hostel dorm. Very accommodating for arrivals after office hours: they have a safe with a keycode so you can check in yourself (very helpful if you arrive by train which arrives in Rockhampton after midnight). On my check-out day I had another train in the evening. I could store my main luggage during the day and when I came back after a day of walking, there was a super friendly person at the reception who let me take a shower and gave me a lift to the train station!

It is not very centrally located.

We had a wonderful stay. The room was very clean( which I’m super particular), quiet and accessible to almost everything. The owner was very friendly and even suggested the quietest room. The bed was very comfy which energized us for our daily adventures. The room even had the espresso machine which I was impressed for the price that we paid for our stay. Will definitely come back👍🏻

the room could have been a bit bigger so 2 arm chairs would fit inside to sit or watch TV. On the1st night a bloke staying at the motel and his visitor sitting right outside our window talking and drinking till 11pm. The other 2 nights everyone in the motel, it was full, were great. So had 2 good nights sleep

Good location within walking distance to what we came down for. Dining facilities also within walking distance. The room was so clean it was a pleasure.

Parking was limited and very crammed, but that is a mere detail as there was parking on the street front of the motel under lighting.

The owners' hospitality was absolutely amazing. Plus, the place was clean, very tidy, and has a great location Everything you need in the room .Plus, the little biscuits that you used to get years ago on hotel stays, which you never see around anymore. Sweet treat.

It was very central for our needs for a 1 night stay. Towels were big and thick and basic toiletries were provided. Microwave and toaster provided.

No plates or cutlery. No way to butter the toast or eat cereal. Maybe they could be provided on request.

By far the best disability bathroom at any motel where we've stayed during this trip. Large bathroom with a fold down shower seat, plenty of rails, and shelves. Lovely towels. The room is small with 2 beds but adequate and the bed comfortable. Wardrobe, Jug, toaster and fridge. very clean. Parking right at the door under cover. The new owners are friendly, helpful hosts. A Thai restaurant and a pub with cheap meals only a block away. The motel is located in a very quiet area while almost in town. Traffic stops early so we had a good sleep. For an older budget motel the disability bathroom is a real find. Good value for the price.

Removing one armchair and one upright chair would create more space in the room. Two of each aren't needed.

The manager/owner was friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and the bed very comfortable. It's off the main road so was quite allowing a good nights sleep.

A small criticism is the same for most motels in Australia. Onsite parking can be a challenge.

Everything was great, had an amazing stay, friendly staff and super clean room! I highly recommend this motel to anyone staying in Rocky.

Parking roomy,room convenience. Clean, tidy and good smoking area. Large wheelie bins easy to access for large rubbish items. Plenty of room in rooms. Location.

Afternoon sun into room. Shutters are closed but sun still gets through. I think it be quite warm in summer.
