We had an enjoyable stay at the Avani apartments for the Adelaide Fringe Festival in a 2 bedroom unit with ensuite bathrooms. Last weekend Adelaide had a heatwave with 38 deg temps so we really appreciated the air conditioning and the lovely pool. We found the cafe and IGA supermarket next door very convenient. The apartment was quiet due to double glazing, clean and well equipped. I used the gym which was also very well equipped. The staff were friendly and helpful. We wanted to watch a DVD in the cinema and needed assistance with the controls to get it started. We didn't have a car and used taxis and Ubers which are readily available. The complex is secure with key entry to the building, lift and unit. We would recommend this complex which is conveniently located on the city fringe.

Avani was well located, within easy walking distance of Rundle Mall and the riverbank. A reasonably new property with modern equipment (lifts, gym, pool etc). The apartment was large compared to others we had looked at and was well appointed with coffee machine, washing machine and dryer, dishwasher, decent sized refrigerator and ample space to relax. The IGA store in the same building was a bonus - no hauling groceries across town! Another bonus was the on-site cafe and bar. Great for a relaxing drink at the end of the day and a light meal perhaps? The staff we met were all very welcoming and informative. We had an issue with getting the TV to work on arrival. A quick call to the front desk and a staff member arrived within a few minutes and established that somebody had removed a HDMI cable . All fixed in no time at all! Great service!

We noticed that the apartment was very clean and tidy on our arrival. It was serviced daily (which we did not expect) including rubbish removal and beds made and towels changed. We did notice though, that the hardwood floors did not appear to have been washed for a while. Our feet or footwear showed up dirt in these areas. Obviously swept, but perhaps needs a steam mop once a week?

I can’t even begin to explain how lovely this hotel this, everything from the reception to the room to leaving was amazing. My apartment was just out standing I can even express how amazing it was. I would stay here again in a heart beat and I hope I can one day.

The washing machine as nice as having one was, was growing a few nastiest. Having it closed and damp all the time It was dirty and smelly. I did a 90 degree no clothes wash just to try to clean it then I run the tea towel around the inside seal it and it was rotten. If it wasn’t for that the room would of been perfection I

Nice apartment in a residential block. Excellent facilities (there is a stream room, golf simulator, pool and gym which looked pretty standard). Very comfy bed, good bathroom and kitchen with enough equipment to be able to do most things. Was very quiet at night. Plenty of cafes nearby if you don't want to cook.

Staff a bit hit and miss and always seemed too busy. It's a 15-20 minute walk to most places in central Adelaide if walking is an issue for you. Parking is extra and I don't think this is noted with the booking.

We had a fantastic stay at Avani. Our apartment was safe, clean, quiet and had all of the amenities we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and sauna during our stay too. The location is perfect and we could walk everywhere. We loved that it was a short walk to Adelaide Central Market. All of the staff at the front desk and the cafe were wonderful to deal with. They were friendly, attentive and welcoming. Nothing was too much hassle and we appreciated the warm welcome to Adelaide. Highly recommend Avani Adelaide and we will definitely be visiting again on our next trip.

It was clean and there were neat touches. The apartment was well stocked and we weren’t in need of anything. The view was amazing from the 21st floor. There was an IGA and cafe downstairs which was super handy. You are also 2-3 blocks from everywhere in Adelaide CBD.

We had some ants crawling all over the apartment for some reason. The manager was really nice and offered us 2 free breakfast to compensate from the cafe downstairs. They changed towels daily and restocked the bathroom and kitchen but didn’t vacuum during the week which made the floor very dirty. I think it would be reasonable to vacuum every 3 days or so at least.

Very clean and very quiet. Nice to have a full kitchen and laundry. The bed was comfortable. Easy walking distance to Central Market and Chinatown. A bit further to the centre of town. Convenient to have a grocery store right next door. The pool is heated to 28.5 degrees C and there is a sauna and steam room.

I think it would be nice to have to have a few basic supplies in the kitchen, e.g. salt and pepper. I think electric blankets on the bed might be good but of course there is the option of turning up the air conditioning. It would be useful to have more info at reception about how to get around.

The room was quiet, spacious, with a balcony, kitchen with full-sized fridge, plus a washer and dryer. The accommodation has many facilities, including a heated 25m lap pool plus sauna and steam room which worked well. I noticed plenty of staff cleaning the facilities to keep them tip-top. The building is short walk to the amazing Adelaide Central Markets and China Town. There are also plenty of restaurants and cafes within a 5-minute walk. We were able to leave our luggage securely in the reception before and after our stay which was handy. Close to the airport too (but not close enough to hear planes).

The bed was too soft for us. In hindsight it might have been good to be located a little more centrally, but we really enjoyed being close to the markets.

The studio apartment was quiet, clean, airy and comfortable with a small balcony and good aircon . There was a full kitchen with large fridge, oven, hob and dishwasher. The bed was super comfy. Bathroom modern and spacious. There is even a laundry cupboard. Reception staff were friendly and helpful.

A bit more kitchen equipment would have been nice, especially bread knife and a casserole dish to use in the oven.

Lovely bright apartment. 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms a balcony . kitchen facilities were pretty good. Location seemed fine with parking ( had to pay for) . Would stay again

We were there before check in time as we had arrived from the Ghan. The luggage store was full and there was no secure place for the bags. It was just "leave them there" so we waited did not want to leave stuff unattended. They did get the room done early for us.
