The West lakes location was great. The beach is close by, views of the lake, shopping centre across the road, bar and restaurants on site with great food and service. The service of the staff was exceptional, catered to all our needs...having two little children who are very picky with their food. The breakfast (included) and dinner options were plenty, prepared well and generous. The kids loved the ice cream which was included with their kids meal. The room service staff were very happy to work around our schedule. The room was big and comfortable for our little family of four.

It was a bit difficult to figure out which entrance to use for the reception even though I later noticed the sign. What misled me was the Tunki restaurant name in big print. Parking, while there was plenty, again difficult to figure out where to park since there is a bottle shop in the middle.

The room was large and the view was beautiful. Gym facility was clean and really easy to access. Cleaning staff were friendly and very helpful.

Wifi didn’t work properly in our room so smart tvs didn’t work. Reception staff were very unhelpful with fixing this. Porter was fantastic and tried but couldn’t get it to work consistently. So we didn’t get to utilise the two smart tvs in the room. Seems very archaic! Breakfast was delicious but for the first 4 days we thought we could only order one main breakfast from the menu. No staff asked told us that we could order more until 5th day someone said that we could order much more. Menu should be clearer and staff should be better trained.

The location was second to none. Rooms were spacious, comfortable, and attended to by housekeeping daily. The Knots restaurant also needs a very special mention. From the quality of the food, to the very attentive staff. Breakfast, Lunch and dinner menus are absolutely delicious ! You can also make yourself comfortable near the bar area , sit and relax on the many comfy chairs /lounges drinking your favourite cocktail. Located on the banks of the lake , it is so picturesque and tranquil. Highly recommended accomodation. Will definitely be returning! Thank you for making our stay so wonderful! Another very important mention is the private parking facilities. Such a convenience!

Reception staff were friendly, welcoming and responded to requests very quickly. Breakfasts were good as were the dinners we ate there.

Mattress on bed needed replacing- sagged. Had it turned after waiting more than 24hrs after requesting that this be done. One of the 'Greeters' (In a suit) in the restaurant (at breakfast then again one night at dinner) was a bit rude and abrupt. So much so I commented to one of the wait staff, who said that he may have been a bit stressed. However 2 occasions, is not good- considering all the rest of the staff were so lovely. He stood out as being not lovely at all!

We enjoyed the comfort of have 2 TV's in our room so the kids could watch there own shows. We loved getting to relax in the spa after a long busy day. We loved the morning rise and sun set from the beautiful view of the lake and the ocean on the other side. We loved our morning breakfast every morning, it was definitely worth getting breakfast included, there were lots of options to choose from, the servings were big portions and the food was tasty 😁

Some parts of the hotel were a bit run down and just needs more fixing and updating to keep it looking presentable.

Breakfast and coffee were in a great location, with a fantastic view of the lake and a choice of seating, which allowed for a more relaxed feel than being crowded in a controlled area like some other places.

Renovation was going on, so dust and smoke built up in the foyer, which should be non-existent once completed. I organised a late checkout, but the swipe cards automatically lock you out at 10 am. I returned to my room after 10 am and couldn't get in, I had to get housekeeping to let me in. Then, I got a call asking me when I was checking out, and I had to tell them I had already arranged a late check-out. It's a minor issue, but the details matter, especially for a great hotel and location.

Great view from the 5th floor. Good size room with a lovely balcony view of the lake. We found good walks to the beach and along the lake edge. Plenty of free parking which was also available in the Westfield complex next door. That was great after 2 weeks outback travelling!

All good except trying to work breakfast out! There needs to be some direction re sitting and how to order as it is not obvious. The menus are in gold and white so the bit about breakfast options needs to be in the side that says Main menu not on the continental breakfast side. We were told when asking for clarification that it was clearly written. Well, it’s not, nor is where you should sit or where you order. I didn’t know I could pay for a better coffee until the next morning when I saw another person ordering from another section of a restaurant which has another bar.

The hotel offers free parking on site, which is convenient if you have a veichle. There is a walking distance shopping centre and the bedroom had a wonderful view over the lake. All staff are welcoming and friendly. There is a 24hr reception which is always a bonus. The breakfast was amazing you have a fixed menu to choose from with plenty of options and generous portions. Room size was great.

Nothing everything was great we had a great stay

The manager in the dining room was absolutely lovely. The food was great. The studio room was very nice.

The girls on the front counter were OK but didn't explain things as well as they could, i.e., where the lifts were or how the $200 security bond works for those of us who don't stay at hotels often. Lots of staff just walking around aimlessly in the dining room but not actually making eye contact with customers in case they needed something. I had to get someone's attention to ask how we order as we were not advised or given a menu when shown our table. Some mini milks were off in the fridge so obviously not rotated.

We stayed for 2 nights after our daughters wedding. We had a great King Spa room, awesome view, wonderful food and couldn't fault the customer service. Even the bed was comfortable!

Main restaurant closed for renovations so we were unable to dine there with the newlyweds - we had dined there NYE - look forward to the new restaurant on our next visit. Water pressure very slow - took over half an hour to fill up the spa bath. I was working part time and didn't realise that there was paid Wi-Fi on offer - might have made working a little easier.
