Excellent value for money in Bistro Food good and plentiful. Staff very helpful and pleasant Room not 5 star but clean, bed comfortable and warm plus kettle & toaster supplied. Very understanding when my stay cut short by 1 night Within walking distance of shops. Remember to book table for dinner

No actual parking for people staying at hotel, Friday & Saturday nights a bit busy and street parking used by bar patrons Steps up to rooms rather narrow and steep but expected of older hotel.

My room was spotless, I got to check in early. The staff lovely, the food was yummy, everyone was so friendly. Apart from the really squeaky floor boards in my room, everything was perfect

The squeaky floor boards Would have thought a small split system air con for more fresh air.

OMG the bed was super comfy, I wanna take it home with me!!! The service was fantastic... And such great value. Highly recommend....

The app I used told me food wasn't available at this venue, however food IS available and what I saw of the menu looked awesome and smelt fantastic... And great prices . Wish I didn't eat before checking in xxx

My stay at the Wharf Hotel, Wynyard was primarily the close proximity to the airport, 20 minute walk or taxi. My stay there was good and I enjoyed my meal in the dining room. The view from my room looked over the river, I did not do a walk over to the beach but it certainly looked like a lovely walk

The staff were great and it was a lovely old hotel with great character. I enjoyed my stay. It was very comfortable. Location was fantastic with easy access to the shops and some great walks. I wish I had more time to explore the area.

The door locks were a little stiff and hard to lock. More powerpoints would have made things a little easier but I understand due to the age of the building.

Lovley location, though did change room so was facing the water. Everything I needed in the room, and a great pizza from pub below.

A bit noisy with the road in front with traffic and hoons, but not much can be done about that,

Good location, big room comfortable

As warned the room was over a dining area and you have to wait till mid evening for the noise to subside. The music played in the pub was a little bit louder than I would of liked but it did stop around 9pm.

The location was very good to other places that we wanted to see in your area . Staff were very friendly when we go back to Tasmania next year we will definitely be staying here again

Everything was great

Location perfect. Few minutes walk to main street where there are plenty of coffee shops, Woolworth supermarket and other shops of interest. Across the road from the Wharf Hotel are good walking paths for all ages.

Patrons using the deck to tone down a little and respect guests in the above rooms.

Very good location a short 5 min stroll to cafes and shops. Room was clean and comfortable with the promised seaview. Pub and bistro downstairs. Staff were very nice and helpful. Good base for Table Cape Tulips and if you want to see penguins recommend you go to information centre to get number for local national parks ranger who will take you.

Advised parking on site however only a very small lot and so not always guaranteed a spot as used for pub and bistro patrons as well. Lots of street parking nearby but not always preferable for a worrier like me.
