Location

A few maintenance issues ~ outside table and chairs rusty and broken, beside lamp blown, shower shooting water up to ceiling and over shower wall.

Absolutely lovely location – opposite the beach and the penguin observation centre + located close to the centre of town of town and the shops + restaurants. Handy for visiting northern Tamanian towns... Penguin... Ulvestone... Devonport... Wynyard and Stanley with excellent local attractions such bush walks... national parks.... great beaches. The staff are friendly and helpful + provide excellent food and service at the restaurant. Strongly suggest booking a Sea View Executive Suite + Balcony for maximum benefit of looking out over Bass Strait.

Location was excellent. Just opposite the boardwalk, where you could go at about 9:15 each evening and see Fairy penguin chicks and parents get together (about 40 of them) amazing 😍

Next time we will book a seaview upper floor room. Lower floor at street level , needed to keep curtains closed at all times. Only niggle about this motel. Maybe tinted windows that see out but not in could resolve the problem. Otherwise excellent stay with really good restaurant on site.

Room is larger than most and had a balcony overlooking the beach. The staff were friendly and accommodated our request to move rooms and extend our stay. The cleaners really looked after us especially when my Husband and I became sick leaving towels outside the door and finding extra pillows. Very comfortable bed.

Location was fairly good We were lucky we had a view so it seems The room was a good size Enjoyed the view from the balcony Walking distance to most places

Little noisy at times as it was a busy street Trees blocked the view in places Can see in the future the trees outside are going to be a problem. We were lucky as we had a view as in the description, but we heard people complaining that they had paid for the view but couldn't see anything but the life saving club or the trees along the footpath. We won't stay there again unless we have a view as described Guess the council thought the trees would be a good idea but they need to be lower in places, but they don't really care about that Thought the price was a little high

Excellent location across the road from the surf club/beach also very close to the board walk across the road to see the penguins come in from the ocean. Was right in town also, was great to use the hotels Parking and not having to use the paid parking out the front. The lady cleaning the rooms was lovely and helpful swapping over towels when one of us was in the shower. Close to shops etc

Being woken up to the neighbour smoking outside of our room as the outside chairs were right outside of our bathroom (we did move them over their side after this). Everything looked beautiful in the room but puts you on edge if your travelling with kids and the whole room is white.

Brilliant location – close to beach, walking tracks, restaurants + shops in the centre of town. Handy for visiting nearby northern Tassie towns + local attractions such as Emu Valley Rhododendron Garden which highly recommend. Staff are friendly, helpful, thoughtful + caring. For maximum enjoyment + benefit of the beach location suggest booking the Sea View Executive Suite + Balcony overlooking the sea. My favourite stay in Tassie!

Beds are hard couldn’t sleep Pillows were either hard or filled with air and swooshed around your face/head

the staff were amazing!, Mel at the front desk made us very welcome and was extremely helpful.

we were in Room 21 and although it is advertised as a sea view the Surf Lif club is right in front of you , you still get a bit of a sea view but not what we were expecting from the description. they could use more comfortable chairs and tables on the balcony

It was a very nice room with a good view. Staff were friendly and helpful upon arrival. Overall it met our expectations. Car parking was also easy. Bed was comfortable and there was lots of space in the room.

I was a little disappointed that there was no bowls in the room.
