Amazing location and very affordable family room with excellent facilities. Restaurant is great to eat at. Staff are amazing and caring

People smoking right outside the doors of rooms. Ashtrays are located right at doors of every hotel room and people smoke right at the front of the doors. Smoke was wafting into our room, through the night and morning, wasn’t nice. Maybe there needs to be consideration in creating smoke free areas for family’s who don’t want secondhand cigarette smoke in their rooms

The location is fantastic, so close to the beach, the skate park, park and water slide. We stayed in the apartment. It was spacious and had almost everything we needed. The pool was the perfect temperature and size for us to have a swim.

The pool area had no shade and only one rickety looking picnic table. We couldn't use the BBQ as it was very dirty. The pool area needs some shade cloths, umbrellas and some chairs tables or lounges. It could be great with the inclusion of some large potted palms etc. The apartment needs a new outdoor setting as the chairs were perishing from the sun and the table was stained black and blotchy with age. The deck also needs replacing with nails sticking up and boards feeling loose under foot. The apartment also needs a new couch as part of it is broken. A clothesline or clothes horse would be handy for hanging towels and bathers between swims.

Absolutely everything. Close to facilities of the CBD. A short walk to the beach and parks. Clean and affordable. Family friendly. The swimming pool is great and a real social hive of activity. Cleaners, reception staff and maintenance crew were all lovely, friendly and very welcoming. Our family will definitely be back and will be staying at least a week. We had a blast and could have just stayed at the hotel.

Some things, such as cutlery and plates, were at reception and not just located in the rooms. Also, the same with the pool towels, it would be great if upon arrival these things were asked if you would require them so you could collect them immediately.

Breakfast was basic but adequate. We only saw the manager who seemed to be across all days and hours and multi tasking. She's always polite and helpful and very fast to respond whenever we needed help. Amazing customer service. Rooms are clean and well maintained for the most part. We have 4 children and the family room is perfect for all of us. We all slept well.

The shower head in our room is broken. In hindsight we should've let management know but we just tied it up with a string while we were there and made do with it. Other than that it was a very pleasant stay.

Melissa absolutely fantastic Manager and Cook.Everything First Class.Breakfast cereal ,toast,juice and coffee included room price.Rooms done each day,spotless.Restuarant open for cooked meals,breeakfast,lunch,dinner.Room Service available also. Highly recommend. Would definitely stay again.

Probably a bedside lamp as downlight over bed a bit bright for watching TV and getting up at night would wake other person .

Beachway have become like family. We push the facility to its limits as one of us is wheelchair bound. Ken n staff are absolutely amazing. Nothing is too much of a bother. Always welcoming and friendly. The chefs meals have been superb. We've had eggs n bacon on room service or continental breakfast on the patio. We've had tea as room service, in the restaurant or again on the patio. We've enjoyed a drink at the bar. Recommend this hotel to everyone especially the disabled

Such a great place gets booked out quick so you have to book well in advance

A simple breakfast was included. Hot selections available for a reasonable extra cost. Plenty of room in freezer in small fridge for icepacks necessary for our medications while travelling. Comfortably firm beds. TV was a reasonable size.

Lighting in room and bathroom very poor for older people. The room was not really big enough for a queen bed and a single bed. Not enough power points...none near beds.

The location is marvellous, a short walk to the beautiful beach. The grounds are beautiful, with the central garden, and the restaurant area is bright and clean. The room itself was quite spacious, plenty of cupboard and bench space, and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom is new and the shower is roomy and taps very easy to manage. It was very handy having a restaurant on site on a Monday, when most other venues are closed.

The handbasin in the bathroom is very small. It's hard to fill the electric jug.

Everything was lovely and the garden setting with picnic table was particularly good. I was able to sit outside and read. The room was very comfortable.

I would have preferred to pay the day before so my fellow travellers could get their key on arrival as they were in a separate vehicle and I was paying for all of us. Also the shower has a step down into it, which was a little hard to see so maybe some tape to make it clearer to pick up.

Located in a short drive from Spirit Of Tasmania ferry terminal for our trip to Sydney and also close to our daughter when heading north from home. The facility makes for an enjoyable stay hence our recent stays this past year. The rooms are clean and of a good standard as is the dining room and it's meals on offer. Is good value also with their rates for accommodation.

Can't fault the facilities and dining on offer hence our regular returns.
